______________________________________________________________________________________

These two locations, Riverwood Tower and Riverwood Tunnels can be used separately or together (load the Tower second). If you already have a home on Riverwood island you can probably use the tunnels by themselves since they only have one trap door on the island and two more on either end of town (on the river banks). Please let me know of any conflicts and I will see if I can accommodate.

You will have to kill the bandits in order to move in and one will respawn if you leave for too long, but the chests will not respawn and are safe for storage. There is a bandit journal in the tower which explains more about them and the location.

Both areas are fully navmeshed except the high loft of the tower and there are plenty of idle markers to keep your followers busy. It is possible to get your followers into the hot tub, but they tend to get shy and may need some coaxing even with something like UFO – Ultimate Follower Overhaul. Just keep trying.

The shower, spa and pool will all get you clean if using the mod Drink Eat Sleep Bathe. The old tower leaks when it rains so you Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping Survival types should head into the tunnels where there are fires and other heat sources to warm and dry yourself.
All crafting areas are available either inside or out (some both). The tower has many boxes planted with alchemical ingredients and there is even a nearby malachite ore vein for mining. You will find no mannequins or display cases since the bandits (and most of their victims) had little use for such extravagances. There are many fine estate or castle mods out there with suitable display opportunities.

The tower and tunnels should be a good way point for rest, repairs, unloading loot, eating a good meal and cleaning the filth and gore acquired from ones travels. This is more of a functional place than a fancy one.

I have tried to make this mod useful, comfortable and reasonably non-lore breaking. I hope you enjoy it and find a place for it in your gaming experience.

NEW as of 7/19/2015.  The tower now needs a key for entry.  A note daggered to the tower entrance leads one to an old silver mine for the key.

Thanks for any feedback on the new additions.  I polished it as well as I could but probably missed a few things.

And check out these nice videos.
