1) THE MOD (INTRO)

This mod adds a completely exterior wooden house in
the Rift. It is situated near Boulderfall Cave, in the
middle of the nature but not far from civilization.
This house has been intended for a ranger type
character...

The house itself has some very original features:

-Most exterior houses have been built with the shack
kit, while my house has been built with a modified
version of an already existing Riften Farmhouse.
So, it is not a shack, but a real house!

-There are real windows, so you can literally see
through the windows. There are also balconies, but
they are static.

-Thanks to a script made by Xilante, inside the house
and the other minor buildings it will never rain.
Of course, where there is no roof, you will see the
rain that continues to fall down. Like in real life.
You are under a cover and you are watching the rain.
Awesome!

-You can create your wooden arrows!

-Items around the house will be an unmovable version
of the original ones.

-You will be able to lit the fireplace. After 3 hours
it will die, and you will have to lit it up again.
This burning cycle has its own lightning-smoking-
sound system.
There are three different fireplace stages meshes.

-The cooking pot will initially start disabled. When
you will use it, fire will light up and a light will
begin to work. Also, it will appear some smoke.
When you will leave the cooking pot, everything will
return as the start.

-The dining table's items are not static: when you
will sit down, they will appear. When you will stand
up, they will disappear. The only static thing is the
table's cloth.

-You can use rail lean markers (not only in the
house rail, but everywhere in Skyrim!)

-You can see yourself laying down in the bed. Of
course, the sleeping menu is still available!

-The house itself is extremely interactive: when you
will have to store your items, you will have to find
where to store them. A part from that, furniture will
be fully animated and you will be able to have a look
inside it.
In poor words...I created a new-completely interactive
storage system.
Here's an example: do you want to store some clothes?
Fine! You have to go inside the house, then to the
wardrobe. Interact with the wardrobe: it will fully
open. As you can see, the wardrobe is pretty much
detailed: inside it you will find a shirt, some shoes
and some boots, some gloves, some hats, a knife, a
bag and two pairs of trousers. Now you will say:
"Where can I store my clothes? There are no
containers inside the wardrobe!"
Inside the wardrobe there are six invisible chests.
If you want to store your boots, look at the boots in
the wardrobe, then press space (I use original
keyboard settings).
If you want to store your hats, look at the hats, then
press space...
That's how you have to interact with the house objects.
PS: in the invisible chests you may store whatever you
wish...for example, in the "books" chest you may store
items that aren't books (like swords, food, etc...)
I created a lot of chests in order to improve
roleplaying...

2) HOW TO INSTALL/UNINSTALL THIS MOD

Installation: extract all files (but NOT the
readmes!) in your Skyrim/Data folder.
Remember to have a look to the Skyrim Launcher: my
.esp must be set as active file.
Uninstallation: simply delete the same files you
installed.
------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------
3) SOME WARNINGS BEFORE STARTING TO USE THIS MOD

- The house itself is completely exterior and there is
a large number of objects. This may cause some lag on
lower end computers.
If you experience a lot of lag, just try to close your
antivirus and some other applications (like your
internet browser, some useless background programs).
Otherwise, try to start the game with applications like
"Gamebooster" by Iobit.
Otherwise, open the Skyrim launcher and try to lower the
details.
If it continues to lag, I'm sorry, you can't use this
mod with your pc.
However, I have a medium end computer...it lags only
when approaching the house. After max 5 seconds, the lag
disappears and the game becomes pretty much stable.

- All the chests don't respawn and are safe-storage.
The only exceptions are the basket ("Really??" xD) and
the backup chest.
If you want to know more about the chests, just have a
look to the other readme in the downloaded archive.

-In the internet, I read about people complaying about
disappearing things from safe-storage chests. An user
explained this happens when in a chest you store all
of the USA population. However, they don't disappear,
they are still in there, but you have to remove all
the visible things in order to see them again. It is
a visual bug. In order to bypass this bug, just try to
don't store 100000 items in a chest ;)

-The arrows you will create will be not powerful.
That's because they are made by pure wood.
I did not allowed to craft other type of arrows because
it was a nonsense. For example, in order to create the
head of an iron arrow, you must work the iron in the
forge. But I think putting a forge near the house was
a bad idea...it doesn't syncronize with the landscape,
it is too big and it is too much for a ranger house...

4) CREDITS

Thanks to BETHESDA SOFTWORKS TEAM for creating this
wounderful game and for releasing the Creation Kit.

Thanks to RIP88: if you can enter into the house without
a loading door, it happens thanks to him! In fact, he
helped me deleting the drawed door (and its collision
too) from the original house model.
He also helped me with some retexturing and with some
mesh editing (for example, the treasury chest door).
He also gave me the permissions in order to use some
cool scripts of him.
Since v1.1, he has been a constant help and, without
him, the mod wouldn't be what it has become!!
Let's say most updates'work has been done by him, or
sometimes has been done by me, but he teached me how to
do it correctly.

Thanks to ISHARAMERADIN, wich tried to help me with
a script. He also helped me to fix a problem with
wooden arrows and he is the owner of the fireplace
stages script (lighting, sounds and smoke features have
been added by me, with the help of RIP88)
Want to download Isharameradin fireplace stages script?

Thanks to IZON87604 for his wounderful video review.

Thanks to XILANTE for creating the rain clipping method
and for sharing his tutorial!
I consider him a great modder, because he did an
extremely important work Bethesda Team may have forgot
to do.

Thanks to INSANITY SORROW for creating his sofas and
chairs collection. And for creating his curtains
collection.
If you want to download those modder's resources, just
open you search engine and search for
"Insanity's Curtains"
and
"Insanity's Sofas & Chairs"
PS: I don't put a download link because those mods
aren't hosted in the nexus site.

Thanks to MY GIRLFRIEND, wich helped me with some ideas

5) NEXT RELEASES

Since this is an experimental version of the final
release, I think there will be only one other release.
If you like exterior houses, I'm building a completely
custom house in the mountains ;)

Here's what should happen in the next release:
-Fix the double fence gate (sometimes it is glitched)
-Fix the dining table feature (glitched)
-Add an horse marker to the stables
-Do some changes to the stables mesh
------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------
6) VERSION HISTORY

v1.0: Initial release

v1.1: Here's what happened...
- The user RIP88 removed the exterior house model drawed
door and its collision.
-The drawed door has been deleted, so, from now on,
you will be able to enter/exit the house without loading
screens and the weather will reset anymore! (From now
on, you will be able to watch the rain from inside the
house)
-Since it was not possible to remove only the drawed
door collision, I had to put some collision barriers
in the exterior house model. (Don't worry, thanks to
those barriers, the house has full collision).
-I modified the entrance: Since the old door served for
teleport purposes only, I changed it and I replaced it
with the other Riften double door. The new door is
fully animated, so, you will be able to enter/exit the
house like in real life.
-Now you can craft wooden arrows, just use the
anvil near the sharpening wheel!
20arrows=4firewood
The arrows are pratically identical to the forsworn
ones, but they do 6 base damage.
-I added a pickaxe in the tools shed.
-I created two new chests.
-In the english version, I translated two words I
forgot to translate in v1.0 (armchair and home)
-In the download archive, I added another readme: in
that readme you will find a list of all the containers,
the crafting stations and the harvestable things.
Of course, this is not a pure list, there is also some
explaination!

v1.2: Here's what happened...
-RIP88 did some nice retextures (like the toilette one
or the entrance wall one)
-RIP88 modified the model of the exterior ladder,
removing the trapdoor that was going inside the house,
near the bed.
-RIP88 created the treasury chest's door: from now on,
you will be able to open/close the treasury chest and
to interact with its content!!
-RIP88 generated accurate navmeshes.
-RIP88 created a script that will insert in your
inventory the keys you will need.
-Changed the kitchen chair with a new one (thanks to
RIP88 for sitting position editing)
-I changed the entrance door's textures: now the
entrance door looks identical to the door from v1.0
-I edited the bench's position: since v1.1, the
character didn't sit correctly. That happened because
of the collision barriers I inserted.
-Fixed lighting: now inside the house lights will never
stop lighting. Reduced the number of lights
-Two beams of the interior roof were not alligned...now
they are.
-Resized the burning wood (it was going outside the
fireplace)
-Now the ladder stands up
-Some other minor fixes I don't remember.

v1.3: Here's what happened...
-Thanks to RIP88, a door lock script has been added.
Now bad guys will not be able to enter the property..
if you will close the gates in time!
-RIP88 did some changes to the fence gate door model:
now both gates open at the same time!
-Added the fireplace feature: now you will need to
lit the fireplace, and, after 3 hours, it will die
and you will have to lit it again. The fireplace works
with its own lighting-sound-smoke system. It is
absolutely realistic!!! (Thanks to ISHARAMERADIN and
to RIP88)
-Added the cooking pot feature: now the cooking pot
will initially start without embers. When you will
use it, embers will turn on. Embers have their own
lighting and smoking system! Another absolutely
realistic feature!
-Added the dining table feature: when you will sit
down, things placed over the table will appear. When
you will stand up, they will disappear.
-Added the possibility to lay down in the bed. Of
course, you are still able to use the sleeping menu.
-Moved some feets away the wheel and placed a stable
near of it.
-Reduced the scale of the two jugs that were located
over the fireplace. Now they look nicer.
-The table cloth has been edited with Nifskope. Thanks
to RIP88, now it is an unique piece! (Before there
were two table clothes, and they were ugly!)
-Some other minor things I don't remember.
