If you're like me and happen to like smaller homes where you can get in and get out quickly, you may have also looked at the Alchemist's Shack and wondered if it was possible to use as a home.
Sadly by default it isn't, as the barrels and containers aren't safe and would eventually respawn and remove your items. I've solved that problem by replacing the existing containers in the house with non-respawning copies. Along the way I decided to add a bit to it in the way of crafting, namely I've added an enchanting table and an anvil, along with some potato sacks scattered about (also safe storage) to make things more livable.

A quick warning: If for some reason you're already set up in the shack and have your stuff in the containers, make sure to remove anything valuable before you enable this mod, as the original barrels and such will be gone and replaced by fresh copies that won't respawn on you.
Likewise, if you end up wanting to disable this mod make sure to clear anything out of the storage in the house or it\'ll be gone.

I can't guarantee my execution of any of it would be speedy, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out.

Installation

Just drop the .esp into your data folder and tick it off in your mod manager of choice, whether that be the default launcher or the Nexus Mod Manager.
