More Whiterun. The Second Edition

Description

The mod is a sequel to the original More Whiterun Released with the permission of @ukgazzer

Whiterun has lots of empty spaces and does not feel like a major commercial hub as it supposed to be.

The mod aims to improve it by transforming Whiterun into a trade city of Skyrim while remaining close to vanilla. It adds lots of small details to Whiterun including:

  • 12 more houses
  • One hiding place
  • 6 new merchants
  • 17 unique residents with their own daily tasks
  • Trainers and two new potential followers
  • A short adventure
  • Changes in the city design

Mod’s NPCs can be a part of Whiterun radiant quests.

The mod was cleaned in TES5Edit and supports Skyrim 1.9.29.0.8 patch.

Change Log

Version 1.1
  • Fixed large house behind Talos statue
  • Fixed minor bugs for the Whiterun landscape design

Version 1.0.3
  • Cleaned in Tes5Edit 3.0.30

Version 1.0.2
  • Corrects facegen data

Version 1.0.1
  • Includes missing facegen textures

Requirements

There are two identical versions of the mod. The difference is in their compatibility with Hearthfire DLC as Hearthfire alters navmesh in Whiterun:

  • Hearthfire edition. Requires Hearthfire DLC
  • Vanilla edition. Requires Skyrim.esm and Update.esm

Installation

1. Save somewhere outside Whiterun;
2. Use NMM to install the mod;
3. Wait for 24 hours before visiting Whiterun to let the mod initiate itself properly.

Load Order

  • The mod edits WhiterunWorld only, so MoreWhiterunSE.esp can be placed somewhere at the top of your load order.
  • If you are running Realistic Lighting Overhaul, the patch MoreWhiterunSE_RLO_MCE_Patch.esp MUST be placed AFTER Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp

Compatibility

Fully compatible with the Civil War questline. Mod’s NPCs will stay in their homes during the Whiterun Siege.

Populated Cities
Realistic Lighting Overhaul . The patch is included
Whiterun Outskirts Market . Requires this patch
Any mods that don't edit Whiterun
