Update! Added the replacer for Dexion's robes. Also I'm in the process of revamping Elendwyn as she looks... strange compared to my new elves. So new screenshots coming soon. (:

Update 2: Black Robes should be up by today. Check my Tumblr for previews if you want to see what they look like in the meanwhile. (:
Would it be possible to replace the orange robes with this one, how would I go about doing that? I know you did an absolutely amazing! replacer for the orange robes ,but there's one Interesting NPC's character who wears the orange ones and I know these would suit him perfectly.
Does anyone know (i.e. have a link to) where I could see clear, side-by-side comparison shots between version 1.0b and 2.0 of this mod? Based on the upload time/date of those two versions, compared to the upload time/date of the images for this mod, it looks like images of both have been uploaded, but they look extremely similar to me, despite my surety that in reality they are noticeably different due to Lind001's great work. I tried looking on his tumblr but I couldn't find any comparison shots.
Thanks for answering! I suppose that explains why I couldn't tell the difference, hehe.
Unfortunately, now I'm as confused as ever, lol.
First, in your response on 27 January, you said "1.0 is a different version of the saame [sic] main file [the "same main file" being Bethesda's official vanilla Skyrim grey robes, I'm guessing?]. . . 2.0 is a completely new texture". 1.0b is a different version of the vanilla file, because it looks different/is a different texture, right?Well if 2.0 is "a completely new texture" compared to 1.0b, than how can they "look exactly the same"?
And second, version 1.0b was uploaded almost 10 months AFTER 2.0. How can an older version be newer than the newest version? I know sometimes mod authors keep older versions up as "Main Files" and not "Old Versions" for different reasons: perhaps because the older versions are more compatible with other popular mods, or there were features that were buggy for some and thus removed even though those features weren't buggy for others, and the author leaves the older one up for those who liked the features and didn't get the bugs. What about 1.0b makes it a "Main File" and not an "Old Version"?
I'm sorry if you don't like answering questions, I know you don't owe me or anyone anything, I would just really like to understand. Maybe I just don't comprehend something because of my English.
Wait, so Version 2 contains important updates since 1.0b, but only affects the Player Character; 1.0b is outdated, but is needed to change the Moth Priest.
So if you have both installed, does that make PC and MP both have new textures, or both have old, or PC has new and MP has old, or there are conflicts and neither works? I'm kinda baffled at which ones we should install and what conflicts with what.
1.0 is a different version of the saame main file, it only affects the Grey Robes.
2.0 is a completely new texture, it comes for both the Grey and Moth Preist robes as separate files, you can use only one of them or both at the same time, they won't conflict as they replace different textures.
If you want, you can also use 1.0 for the Grey and 2.0 for the Moth Priest.
First of all, thank you for responding to my question!
So 2.0 changes either the PC, the MP, or both to use a totally new robe texture (I'm assuming you choose via the MCM or something?), and the 1.0b is like a hi-res version of vanilla. And if I want both (1.0 for robes and 2.0 for priest), they won't conflict as long as I choose only the priest from 2.0's MCM? Okay, I think I got that part.
I tried to look at the images to compare what 1.0b and 2.0 look like for the robes, but they look very similar to me (based on your pictures and the upload dates, and the upload dates of 1.0b in Jan and 2.0 in Nov). Could you please upload a picture(s) of both in the same pose, lighting, etc. so we can see the differences clearly?
Thank you for this mod and hope you have a great day!
One question though: Is it possible to only replace Dexion's Robes, but keep other Grey robes as Vanilla? The Clothes & Clutter Fix mods make Talos priests wear the your beautiful and extravagant Blue robes, like Court Wizards. This just feels wierd since the priests of Talos are a grim and almost militant order, so I'm making a patch where they wear plain Vanilla grey instead.
But I'd like Dexion to truly feel unique by being the only one wearing your beautiful Grey ones! Is this possible?
EXCELLENT, I wasn't sure if it required the main file as a plugin, or was just some sort of script or other CK voodoo magic to make him equip it. Thanks!
Wow, these textures are magnificent! The detail and texture gives it a much needed aesthetic look that just makes them rich looking. Just love these outfits now. Im pretty happy I found your mod, Im playing thru as a necro this time. So thank you for these exquisitely detailed replacers... Love them! Thanks!
First, I just wanted to say these robes are amazing. I was led here because I'm doing a run as a Moth Priest who hit some bad luck and ended up in Skyrim. The default Moth Priest robes were pretty bland and EotW's texture was a small improvement. These are much, much better... though there's one small problem...
As awesome as Varen's robes are... If it's not too much trouble, is it possible to just make a version of these robes that's closer to the original palette (for the Moth Priest Robe replacer)?
Thanks for the in-depth feedback and that little lore. I like what they did in TESO, I guess I could make another one, why not, keep this as the grey replacer and having proper Moth Priest Robes, of course I won't copy those, but yeah, that's some fine inspiration. (:
I just want to add on that it would be great to have a grey robes texture that was all grey, instead of brown and grey - something much more like the vanilla version and other TES versions in terms of color. I do love your work and recommend it a lot. I just wish the grey robes were more grey.
All of your robes are so good!!! Do you have any plans to work on the mage robes? I was looking for some good mage robe replacers when I found your mods and I just love the style!

Regarding your question, get this file:
This one only replaces the Moth Priest robes, "Grey Robes" and Dexion's robes are two separate outfits in vanilla. (;
Sooner or later I'll be releasing a pack specific for necromancers - warlock too. (:

Moth Priest Robes are much more, well, white:
Sister Terran Arminus (ESO)
Blind Moth Priest (Oblivion)
Dexion Evicus (Skyrim)
Varen Aquilarious (ESO)
EotW's, based on vanilla vs. Yours in the same location.
As awesome as Varen's robes are... If it's not too much trouble, is it possible to just make a version of these robes that's closer to the original palette (for the Moth Priest Robe replacer)?
Thanks
