About this mod

HD Retexture of the Grey Robes, 2048x2048 Robes and Hood. featuring lots of shading and details. The idea was to make the robes look like what a Moth Priest would wear. To me, the emissaries of such an ancient and important order would never wear something as simple as what the grey robes look by default, considering they have their HQ in Cyrodill

Description:
-----------------------------------------------------------

This is a texture replacer for the Brown long robes (Male and Female) featuring 2048x2048 textures for both the robes and the hood
Installation: Simply Unzip and copy the Data folder in your Skyrim directory.
The .dds files should end up into Data/textures/clothes/monk

If you have skimpy meshes installed and want to use these robes, I suggest installing either exeter's or calientes' adaptation.

Also compatible with high poli meshes (why wouldn't they be, uh?).

Overwrite if asked.

The Grey robes:
Say I ask you this question: Can you think of an NPC who wears Grey Robes by default?
You thought of Dexion, the arguably useful Moth Priest of the Dawnguard DLC, didn't you? Well, Dexion is a Moth Priest, so my association for this one was Grey Robes = Moth Priest.

Moth Priests are one of the most ancient orders in Skyrim, and the only one you encounter seems to have just got out of the shower (yes, more bathrobes jokes, I know.)

The idea was to make the robes look "Royal", to me, the emissaries of such an ancient and important order would never wear something as simple as what the grey robes look by default, considering they have their HQ in Cyrodill and they manage to wield rare weapons such as the Akaviri swords.
