Dawn of a New Day
In the land of Hyrule, there echoes a legend. A legend held dearly by the Royal Family tells of a boy. A boy who, after battling evil and saving Hyrule, crept away from the land that made him a legend. Done with the battles he once waged across time, he embarked on a journey. A secret and personal journey. A journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend. A friend with whom he parted ways when he finally fulfilled his heroic destiny and took his place among legends...
This is the first ever Majora's Mask Hero's Shield mod for Skyrim. Based on a mesh by Tyen, and retextured to be the most realistic in-game representation of the primary shield from the Zelda game closest to my heart. I'm very proud of this mod!
The mod adds the Terminan Shield near a waterfall close to Darkwater Pass. The shield can be tempered normally, and is Light Armor about the same strength as an Elven Shield. It cannot be changed to Heavy Armor, but it does have something hidden in it that can be unleashed if you have a high enough smithing skill.
I suggest you go to Talking Stone Camp or wander around Rorikstead until you find the Terminan Forge. There's actually something special hidden at Talking Stone Camp, so look carefully!

Go to Talking Stone Camp and go south east until you find the Terminan Forge.
Inside the chest at the forge will be a book and a note. The book explains the lore of the Terminan Shield and begs you to help a forgotten kingdom by bringing four souls to the forge.
The Gem of the Mountain is on Northwind Summit in a hut.
The Gem of the Ocean is directly north of Ravenscar Hollow in a barrel underwater.
The Gem of the Swamp is in the submerged nord ruin guarded by mudcrabs southeast of the Apprentice Stone.
The Gem of the Canyon is in Sunderstone Gorge.
In each gem, capture an NPC's soul and bring all four to the Terminan Forge with your Terminan Shield.

Dragon Scales
PLEASE do not use the Terminan Gems in enchanting or charging! You will lose them if you do, completely destroying any chance of obtaining the Terminan Hero's Shield! I suggest you put them away after they are filled.
The Terminan Hero's Shield has an enchantment that gives 100% magic resistance as well as improved blocking and health recovery in battle.
