Fixsmith 2.2 allow to :
- correct bugs / incoherences / oversights / lacks of the vanilla smithing system.
- discover new recipes by progressing through the main quests of the game.
- smith better, enchantable and improvable versions of vanilla weapons and armors to no longer have to choose between appearance and efficiency.
- smith new original items from modders community creations.

Installation :
First, you have to decompress the files in the "data" directory of the game. Second, you have to activate the mod named fixsmith.esp with the launcher of Skyrim.

Modifications :
- Dragonplate armor is now better than the daedric one.
- Steel smithing perk becomes common materials smithing perk. So the perk bonus can now apply to hide, leather, iron etc... armors too.
- Revamped the hunting system, pelts and tusks worth more golds, animals can now drop high quality pelts

You'll need the book "Nightingale armory" in your inventary. It is located in the nightingale hall.

Dark brotherhood :

- Armor of the bloody hand
- Armor of somber intentions
- Black sacrement Armor
- Shrouded robe ( until master level )
- Sorcerer of Sithis robe ( archmage level )
- Blade of woe

You need the book named "Sibyl armors" in your inventory sold by Babette in the dark brotherhood sanctuary.
Babette now sells rare ingredients ( human flesh, human heart, sibyl cristals ).
Sithis marks can be looted from black sacrement victims.

Ancient nord / draugr :

- Dova steel armor
- Dova steel mail armor

You will need the book called "Hagen's journal" found in the Forelhost stronghold.

The Companions :

You can only forge companions armor and weapons at the skyforge. To smith the Ysgramor weapons, you need the book "Our smithing gifts" located in the Ysgramor's Tomb. To make the hircine blood you need to equip and use the hircine sacrificial dagger at the tanning rack.

The Blades :

- Akaviri scout armor, shield and sword
- Akaviri soldier armor, shield and sword
- Akaviri officer armor, shield and sword


You will need a book called "Akaviri knowledge" found in the Sky Haven Temple.

College of Winterhold :

- Archmage outfit
- Archmage sword ( based on Glamring, the LOTR Gandalf's sword ) enchanted, and unenchanted.
- All robes of all grades of all magical colleges.
- All wands.
- Hoods
- Boots
- Bracers

You will need the book "College of Winterhold equipment, v1" to craft the common stuff, it is sold by Urag at the Arcaneum.
You will need the book "College of Winterhold equipment, v2" to craft the archmage stuff, you'll found it in the archmage chamber.

Bards College :

- Raven outfit ( From the witcher ), Triss outfit for females, Geralt outfit for males
- 10 backpacks from different pelts to improve your carry weigth.

You'll need the book "Good bards essential equipment" found in the Bards College reading room.


About ingredients :

- Feathers are sold at any misc merchant like Lucan in Riverwood, or can be found on chickens and hawks.
- Sibyl crystals are looted on hagravens and sold by babette ( dark brotherhood ).
- Dragon soul gems are looted on draugr sorcerers.
- Oak is sold in Markath, elm is sold in Riften, and yew is sold in all other blacksmithes of Skyrim.
- The archery in Solitude and the goods merchant in Winterhold sell all the type of wood.
