ANCIENT BLADES WEAPONS 3.0 BAIN NMM

This set includes;

2 [four] Nodachi, right and left hand; with or without saya [Now with hilts.]
3 [four] Tanto, right and left hand; with or without saya [Now with hilts.]
4 [two] Ninjato Two-hand; with or without saya

6 [four] Wakizashi, right and left hand; with or without saya
7 [one] Female set of light armor
8 [two] Longbow
9 [four; new] Black Ninjato, right and left hand; with or without saya
10 [two; new] Black Ninjato two-hand; with or without saya
11 [four; new] Black Wakizashi, right and left hand; with or without saya
12 [all you can make] Arrows, "long" and "short"
13 [one] Shortbow
14 [one pair] Long tabi or sexy{?) thigh-high socks
15 [one] boshi or kasa or straw hat

This set has four UNP body types, two CBBE [CT77] bodies, an option for cloth outfit [no AR] and an optional skeleton. All are 'ACE Archery' compatible.

The original outfit will be in the leather sub section of the forging menu.
The cloth outfit can be made at the tanning rack.

The weapons will be in the Dragon subsection of the forging menu once you 'buy' the 'Advanced Armors' perk. They will temper slowly until you get the 'Dragon Armor' perk. You will also need dragonbone powder to make and temper the weapons and arrows. Just take your dragon bones to a smelter and mix with firewood to make the powder. It would make more sense to make the powder at an alchemy station but I could not figure out how to do this. Duh...

WARNING!!

If you are using version 2.6 or older DO NOT INSTALL A NEWER VERSION YET.
If your character is carrying the longbow [especially an enchanted longbow] you must first get rid of the bow before installing a newer version. Start a saved game; sell your longbow [or longbows]; save and exit the game. Now you can install a newer version.

Why? I don't know when [or how] it happened, but the longbow disappears when you drop it or are disarmed. I fixed this in 2.7 but if your character already had a bow before installing a newer version  [than 2.6] the settings for the  bow you are carrying did not change. If you drop or lose the bow the game will CTD.

If you have already installed a newer version [than 2.6] but you did not sell your longbow first, do not worry [be happy now]. Sell any longbows you have and make a new one. The new longbow you make will use the new nif so it should be safe if you drop or lose it.

VERSION 3.0;

Moved the boshi to node 48. You can now wear circlets and the hat together.

Made another longbow and made both longbows a bit taller.

You now get twelve[12] arrows in a bundle at the forge instead of twentyfive [25]. I thought that might help to get rid of all that dragonbone powder.

Cleaned up some of the meshes.

Fixed CBBE socks so feet no longer clip.

I have gone back to the HDT behavior files for the skeleton. Whenever I equipped a torch [using my behavior files] the breasts on BBP bodies stretched downwards. Look for Groovtama's XPMSExtended skeletons to get ECE sliders that allow you to resize and reshape the breasts.

Oh! I added a male version of the balaclava. I have an idea for the male outfit and I hope to install it next time. [If I have time.]

Removed the SkyRE version as I have no way to test. [That and my new job has me travelling all over Helen's back. If someone out there is willing to be a playtester for SkyRe please let me know.

If you install the skeleton you MUST run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe. [or use the NonFNIS patch] Search'FNIS Behavior' on the nexus to find it if you do not have it already. And remember to check 'skeleton arm fix' in the patches window or your left hand weapons will be upside down.

INSTALLATION:

BAIN

1; Download the ABW All-In-One BAIN NMM mod.
2; Open Wyre Bash.
3; Click on the 'Installers' tab in the upper left corner of the Wyre Bash window. Wait patiently while Wyre Bash refreshes the mod list.
4; Open the folder where you downloaded the ABW mod. [You can do this while the mod list is refreshing.]
5; Drag and drop "ABW All-In-One BAIN NMM.7z" into the left window. A small window will pop up asking if you want to move the file, copy the file or cancel the action taken. I recommend one of the first two but I may be biased.
6; Right click on "ABW All-In-One BAIN NMM.7z". A menu will open with a long list of tasks. Highlight 'Wizard' and click. This will cause the Install Wizard to start.
7; Your first option in the "Install Wizard" is body type. Highlight the body you want and click the "Next>"  button near the bottom right.
8; The next window wants to know if you want to convert the armor to normal clothes. Choose "Yes" if you do or "No" if you don't then click "Next>".
9; The next window asks if you want to use the edited XPMS skeketon. Again, "Yes" or "No"
10; The last window lets you know the install script has finished and what choices you have selected. If the checked boxes correspond to your choices then select "Apply these selections" on the bottom right and click "Finish". The mod will now install.
11; Do not close Wyre Bash just yet. Click on the "Mods" tab just to the right of the "Installers" tab. We are now looking at the list of mods you have installed. Go to the bottom of the list. "AncientBladeWeapons.esp" should be there. Click the small box just in front of "AncientBladeWeapons" to enable the mod.
12; Drag and drop the "AncientBladeWeapons.esp" toward near top of the list. You will want to place it along with any other weapon and armor mods like 'hothtrooper44' or 'JSwords' or "R18Pn" etc... Make a note of the mod just above [or below] where you placed "AncientBladeWeapons.esp".
13; Follow the long path to "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar" [Mine is here: C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch] and double click to run. 'Dual Sheath' uses BOSS so your mod list may change when run. Thus the note from earlier...
14; ABW is now at the bottom [or near it] so we need to put it back where we left it before. Hopefully you made note of the mod just above [or below] where you placed it before. Just drag and drop like last time.
15; If you are using BBP and have installed the skeleton you will should run "GenerateFNISforUsers.exe" [Mine is here; C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users. Or you may alreafy have the shortcut on your desktop.] to refresh your behavior files. Make sure you check the 'skeleton arm fix' patch before you update or your left hand weapons may be upside down in your left hand. The skeleton should still work if you do not use BBP bodies or outfits. [I Highly recommend hdtPhysicsExtensions for BBP, TBBP and ragdoll effects.]
16; Quit reading this B.S. and play.

Can I install using NMM?
Yes.

UNINSTALL

If you used Wyre Bash, open the Installers tab and when the window finally opens right click the ABW file and select uninstall in the pop-up menu. Uncheck any boxes that are still checked then right click the ABW file and select delete.
If you manually installed, just erase the AncientBladeWeapons .esp, and the 'ancientblades' folders in the 'meshes/weapons' and 'textures/weapons' folders inside the data folder of Skyrim. And the respective 'armor' folders as well.

If you make improvements [to my work] and wonder if you should upload your work, please do; I would like see what you did...

This mod uses a somewhat modified UNP body and a modified CBBE CT77 body. If you use a different body mod the body textures may not line up correctly.

Credit to 'Natterforme' for his scarf from his 'scarves in skyrim' mod. Danke.

Also a big, if belated,  thanks to dimon99, maker of the UNP body. Sorry it took so long.

Thanks to skulltyrant for continuing xp32's work and thanks to xp32 for his original skeletons.

Thanks to Groovtama for the skelie and ECE sliders.

A big thanks to 'kanakosoup' for pointing out my little flaws in a kind way. Thanks to you I am down to one pint a night and I am riding my bike more. Though... the bike thing may be because of the improving weather.

And thanks to all of you that actually like my sub-standard work.

So, it's good night from me... [Ed. And it's good night from him.]

Oyasumii,
