Description

This is a mod that places Karita the Pilgrim, found at the fourth tablet on the way to High Hrothgar, back into the Skyrim world as a follower named Karita Ivarsdotter. She is completely standalone and requires no other mods.

While climbing the 7000 steps to High Hrothgar in answer to the Greybeards summons, the Dovahkiin meets a nord female warrior meditating at the fourth etched tablet. After exchanging pleasantries and continuing the climb to High Hrothgar and the Greybeards, Karita the Pilgrim is removed from Skyrim.
This mod brings her back, with only a few modifications. She maintains her original class, skills and inventory. Her aggression and moral has been changed to make her a benifical companion that will always fight with you and for you. I changed her facial features in CK to give her a thirty-something look and made her marriageable for those that want, but she is a warrior and I doubt she has very good mothering skills. Beautiful and viscous, that is Karita.

Where to find her:

After visiting the Greaybeards, if you walk down the steps (recommended for immersive play,) Karita can be found in Ivarstead at the Vilemyr Inn. If you fast travel to the Inn you may have to wait up to ten days for her to appear. If you are already deep into the game she will be there waiting.

Installation

NMM strongly recommended.
There are two versions regular and Nevernude or SFW, please choose just one.

This mod contains a number of loose files that need to be added to the meshes and texture folders. Missing one during manual installation will cause face and body problems.

Manual Installation

Extract this archive to any folder and then copy the contents to the Skyrim data
folder exactly as the archive shows. Be sure to enable the Karita Ivarsdotter.esp or Karita IvarsdotterUNP.esp

How to Uninstall

If installed with NMM use NMM and simply uninstall.

If manually installed delete:
meshesKarita Ivarsdotter and
meshesactorscharacterfacegendatafacegeomKarita Ivarsdotter.esp
texturesKarita Ivansdotter and
texturescharacterfacegendatafacetintKarita Ivarsdotter.esp
Then delete the Karita Ivarsdotter.esp in the data folder.

Incompatibility

None, if using a legal copy of Skyrim and updated to the latest version.

Known Issues

If you are limited in vram and running a lot of 2K texture mods, this mod may cause black face in some circumstances. Karita Ivarsdotter uses a lot of HQ textures.
