About this mod

Adds a bunch of new Robes to vendor inventories and empowers some previously pathetically Enchanted Robes, such as the Shrouded Robes, Thalmor Robes, Hooded Thalmor Robes and Necromancer\'s Robes. Gives NPC Mages and Priests a wider variety of Robes to wear, including the newly added Monk Robes and their Enchanted Variants.

Permissions and credits
Mage Apparel Overhaul, or MAO for short is a mod which adds new Robes to vendor inventories that Bethesda left out of the base game, modifies existing Robes which I felt were imbalanced and modifies other apparel too, such as the Mage oriented Dragon Priest Masks and the Diadem of the Savant. No DLC requirement and should work with every mod on the Nexus. It was my intention to make this mod seamlessly integrate into Skyrim and make it feel like the changes made were there all along.

Enchanted Robes Added:

Brown Mage Robes
Brown Hooded Mage Robes
Green Mage Robes
Green Hooded Mage Robes
Red Mage Robes

Grey Hooded Mage Robes
- All Robes have +100% Magicka Regen and all Hooded Robes additionally have +40 Magicka.

Robes Modified:

Thalmor Robes: 100% Magicka Regen, -17% Destruction Cost.
Thalmor Hooded Robes: 100% Magicka Regen, -17% Destruction Cost, +40 Magicka.
Shrouded Robes: +150 Magicka, -15% Destruction Cost.
Black Robes: 100% Magicka Regen.
Blue Robes: 100% Magicka Regen, +40 Magicka.
Black Hooded Robes: 100% Magicka Regen, +40 Magicka.
Necromancer's Robes: 100% Magicka Regen, -17% Conjuration Cost.

Apparel Modified:

Nahkriin: Removed Armour Rating and Armour classification. Added appropriate keywords and dropped weight to 4.
Vokun: Removed Armour Rating and Armour classification. Added appropriate keywords and dropped weight to 4.
Morokei: Removed Armour Rating and Armour classification. Added appropriate keywords and dropped weight to 4. Added +20% Shout Recovery.
Diadem of the Savant: Removed Armour Rating and Armour classification. Added appropriate keywords and dropped weight to 2, which is the weight of all other Circlets.
Gauldur Amulet: +50 Health, Magicka and Stamina. Also applies to the fragments.
Saarthal Amulet: -5% Spell Cost.
Archmage Robes: +125% Magicka Regen from 100%. Also modified the Hoodless Variant.
Archmage Boots: Universal Magic Resist.

NPCs Modified:

Many Wizards, Warlocks, Alchemists, Priests, Priestesses, Court Mages and Skill Trainers so that they wear the new Robes and also wear a greater variety of Robes. It adds a sense of realism when the player isn't the only person wearing the new Robes, in my opinion.

Compatibility:
- Put after any mods which modify the same things. I.e. SkyRe.
- If using Simple Skyrim Spell Scaling Solution, Mighty Magic - Fortify Magic School, Skyrim Redone or any other mod which replaces the Spell Cost Reduction Enchantments with Spell Magnitude Enchantments then use ONLY the Optional File provided. ;)

There should be absolutely NO mods which cause a crash to the desktop when used with MAO. Even mods which overwrite some of the same things, like Skyrim Redone work with MAO perfectly.
