This mod expands on CaptainRC's craftable Master Sword mod, based on the amazing meshes by Chief-01:
It does not require the mod by CaptainRC.

One Master Sword is added to Ancestor Glade (or Eldergleam Sanctuary if you choose the vanilla version). A recipe to Awaken it can be found in loot like other recipes.
Another recipe can be used to darken the Master Sword, making a more sinister blade.
These recipes ARE required for forging it in the Fort Dawnguard and Skyforge versions.

I highly suggest that you simply go to the Archmage's Quarters at the College of Winterhold and find the note on the Enchanting Table, but if you want to know more, read ahead.

There are three versions of this mod: one that uses the Atronach Forge, one that uses the forge in Fort Dawnguard, and one that uses the Skyforge. If you have a mod that uses the Atronach Forge, chances are this mod will conflict if you use the Atronach Forge version.

The sleeping Master Sword in Ancestor Glade or Eldergleam Sanctuary is a heavy one-handed sword about as strong as an Orcish War Axe. Here's a video explaining how to find it

Eldergleam Sanctuary:

Ancestor Glade:

The Awakened Master Sword of this mod is essentially a more powerful Dawnbreaker, dealing extra damage to undead, especially vampires, and has the ability to banish any Daedra.

The Corrupt Master Sword has a more unique enchantment, dealing damage of all three elements (Flame, Frost, Shock) as well as stamina damage and Soul Trap.

You can only choose one path with the Sword, so choose wisely. You can purify the Corrupt Master Sword, but you cannot corrupt the awakened blade.

The Atronach Forge and Dawnguard versions of the mod require the Dawnguard DLC, not just because of Ancestor Glade, but also because the recipe for charging the sword requires Ancestor Moth wings.

Speaking of which, here are the recipes
(Note: the recipes can be found throughout the world. They are also found in Fellglow Keep or Darklight Tower, Kilkreath Ruins and the Hall of the Vigilant.)

-To awaken the Master Sword:
Elven Smithing
Arcane Blacksmith
1 Ancestor Moth Wing (or Scroll or tome of Courage for Skyforge version.)
1 Blue Butterfly Wing
1 Monarch Butterfly Wing
1 Luna Moth Wing
1 Circle of Protection Scroll
Unpowered Master Sword found in Ancestor Glade

-To corrupt the Master Sword:
Elven Smithing
Arcane Blacksmith
1 Daedra Heart
1 Void Salt
1 Fire Salt
1 Frost Salt
1 Filled Black Soul Gem
Unpowered Master Sword found in Ancestor Glade or Eldergleam Sanctuary

-To purify the Corrupt Master Sword:
1 Empty Grand Soul Gem
1 Grand Healing Scroll
1 Ancestor Moth Wing (or Banish Daedra Scroll or tome for Skyforge version)
Corrupt Master Sword

The recipes are the same in both versions, but the Fort Dawnguard version requires the Arcane Blacksmith perk and the presence of the unpowered Master Sword in your inventory.
In that version you can also use the Skyforge to corrupt the sword, but purifying it and unlocking its true power require the forge in Fort Dawnguard.
Also, you can opt to use a version that uses tomes instead of scrolls.
These recipes ARE required for forging it in the Fort Dawnguard and Skyforge versions.

A good way to get Ancestor Moth wings is to go all the way up the stairs in the cavern, to a Canticle tree. The Ancestor Moths on the flora there are harvestable.

You can choose an evil or good path with the blade, but you cannot corrupt the True Master Sword. You can purify the Corrupt Master Sword to the True Master Sword, but the True Master Sword will be enchanted forever.

The Majora's Mask my Khajiit character is wearing:

As far as I know the mod is highly compatible, as it only modifies the recipe leveled lists and Ancestor Glade. However, the Atronach Forge version may conflict with other mods.
