INTRODUCTION:
This is a simple modification to Brelyna Maryon's dialogue response when dismissed as a follower. Primarily aimed at players who pick Brelyna as the spouse for their character, it aims to correct the often-erroneous statement that she will "see you back at the College."
As of v0.2, this plugin over-rides her default dismissal response, with a custom, more generic response. Prior to 0.2, it was conditional, based on her relationship with the player, but that resulted a monster of a bug, where Brelyna couldn't be dismissed at all if she's the player's spouse. Perhaps when I have time and patience to track down the issue, I'll make it a conditional response, again.
INSTALLATION (Manual):
- Copy the "Data" folder into your Skyrim installation directory ( "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\" )
- In the Skyrim Launcher, ensure that "BrelynaDialogue.esp" is selected in the Data Files menu
INSTALLTION (NNM):
- Download and activate.
- In the Skyrim Launcher, ensure that "BrelynaDialogue.esp" is selected in the Data Files menu
OTHER NOTES:
While this mod is stand-alone, the following mods are highly recommended:
- Sultry Brelyna Maryon [NOTICE: Make sure that this mod is placed BEFORE BrelynaMaryonSultry.esp in the mod load order, or the latter will not work!]
- Ultimate Follower Overhaul
I cannot guarantee compatibility with any other plugins that modify voice files/data/character stats for Brelyna. In my experience, as long as this file loads BEFORE any others that modify Brelyna, there shouldn't be a problem.
