About this mod

Adds the Dragon Aspect Armor to Skyrim. REQUIRES DRAGONBORN

Permissions and credits
REQUIRES Dragonborn DLC

Update:

Added a psd file with various diffuse map presets to change the color of the armor, as seen in the image section.

Choose a color layer, deactivate others, save using DXT5 compression as "graddragonaspect.dds" (you will need the nvidia dds plugin for photoshop, or GIMP), remember to include the alpha layer.

Then, place the "graddragonaspect.dds" you just created inside "Skyrim\Data\textures\dlc02\effects\gradients" folder, create and rename any missing folders yourself, following the structure above.

Enjoy

Q&A:

What is it? What does it do?

Extremely simple mod, adds the cool dragon aspect armor effect as an equippable armor in game, takes up the FX slot, same as the shout.

It is exactly the same as the armor you get with the "Dragon Aspect" shout.

It uses Bethesda's model and effects, so whatever you see on your character with the shout will be what you get with this mod. And yes, it supports both male and female and everything in between.

Version 1 has no stats boost, version 2 has the exact same stats boost as from level 3 of the shout.

Both versions take up the same equipment slot as the original armor, and so there will be no conflict with the shout.

Version 2:

Adds the shader effects to the armor, as requested. See video:

As a little bonus, also removed the daily cap on the shout, so you can now use it without any limitations.

==========================

Version 1:

No shader effects, no bonus stats boost, otherwise identical to V2.

==========================

Didn't create a ground model for the item since Bethesda didn't either, and I don't really want to upload Bethesda's resources in my mod, so I used Beth's default ground mesh for the item - some random gloves.

May look into different color options in the future ... who knows.

Installation:

Drag n drop.

Location:

None. Bring up console, use command (help "dragon aspect armor") without the parenthesis, but WITH the quotation marks, get the item code, then use "player.additem" command to add it to your inventory.
