I have remade this mod to be more modular (see DSDII). This instance of the mod is still fully functional, but I will not be developing it any more.

I have always liked Dragons. What I liked most was their potential. They kept growing older and more powerful throughout their lives. They don't get feeble. They don't catch wasting sicknesses. They don't die of old age.

A being with the soul of a dragon should be able to tap into that basis of power. This mod allows you to do so. The "[Dohvakiin] Dragon Soul" ability increases as you are exposed to more draconic energy (as you absorb dragon souls). It doesn't matter to this mod what you do with the souls after absorption.

Installation:
Unzip the file into your Skyrim/Data folder.

At this point, you have to use the console to get the ability.

1. Press the ` key to bring up the console
2. Type in (without the **) ** help "absorbed dragon souls" **
3. Note the code that is displayed. It should be in the format xx000d62. xx will vary by the number of mods you have loaded.
4. Type in (without the **) ** player.addspell xx000d62 **
5. Assuming you've absorbed at least 5 souls, you'll start seeing the effects in your status list.

The effects:

Per 5 Dragon Souls
+5% Damage to Fire Breath and Frost Breath shouts (max +100%)
+5% Unarmed Damage (max 100%)
+5 Armor Rating (max 100)

Per 10 Dragon Souls
+5% Resist Magic (max 50%)
+5% Resist Fire (max 50%)
+5% Resist Frost (max 50%)
-5% Shout Recovery Time (max -50%)

These are abilities that I believe are unquestionably "dragon-like"

I am open to some debate as to whether to add new abilities, or progress the current ones past 100 Dragon Souls.

CREDITS:
When figuring out how to execute this mod--as well as some of the inspiration--I used madcat221's mod: Dragonborn Ascendant (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17010). I freely acknowledge this, and give him due credit for a brilliant methodology.
