This is a small mod that allows you to turn Soul Gem Fragments into Soul Gems, and allows you to break down Soul Gems to fragments, based on the strength of the gem. Version 5 adds a crafting station to Solstheim- inside Tel Mythrin (or whatever it's called) and to the Arch-Mage's Quarters. Read below for changes.
-VERSION 5- REQUIRES DRAGONBORN DLC-
-Blade of Black Souls cost reduced- 2 Ebony Ingots, 2 Leather Strips, 2 Filled Black Soul Gems, 2 Empty Black Soul Gems.
-You can use the Gem Crafting Station to empty out soul gems- in case your Grand Soul Gem gets filled with a Petty soul.
-Crafting Station inside the Arch-Mage's Quarters in the College of Winterhold.
-Crafting Station inside Tel Mythrin.
-No additional changes otherwise.
-VERSION 4-
- Soul Gems Shards are classified into the five main categories of white Soul Gems, as well as there being a sixth category- Small Soul Gem Shard- that can be used to make any of the gems.
- Slightly modified the prices of Soul Gem Shards
- Modified random drops for Soul Gem Shards.
- Shards can be purchased from misc. vendors
- You can forge the Blade of Black Souls at a forge if you have both Soul Siphon and Ebony Crafting perks. It is slightly better than the Blade of Woe, is classified as a dagger, and has a high charge for Soul Trap enchantment.
- Crafting Tables in each of the hold's main cities
- Petty Soul Gems require 2 Petty Soul Gem Shards to create and are broken down for the same.
- Petty Soul Gems can also be created with 10 Small Soul Gem Shards, and are broken down for 2.
- Lesser Soul Gems require 4 Lesser Soul Gem Shards to create and are broken down for the same.
- Lesser Soul Gems can also be created with 15 Small Soul Gem Shards, and are broken down for 4.
- Common Soul Gems require 6 Common Soul Gem Shards to create and are broken down for the same.
- Common Soul Gems can also be created with 20 Small Soul Gem Shards, and are broken down for 6.
- Greater Soul Gems require 8 Greater Soul Gem Shards to create and are broken down for the same.
- Greater Soul Gems can also be created with 25 Small Soul Gem Shards, and are broken down for 8.
- Grand Soul Gems require 10 Grand Soul Gem Shards to create and are broken down for the same.
- Grand Soul Gems can also be created with 30 Small Soul Gem Shards, and are broken down for 10.
- Black Soul Gems require 2 of each type of Soul Gem Shard to create and are broken down for 10 Small Soul Gem Shards.
- Black Soul Gems can also be created with 40 Small Soul Gem Shards.
-VERSION 3-
- Soul Gems Shards are now classified into the five main categories of white Soul Gems.

- All soul gems are broken down to the same base gem, and there exist recipes for turning any found fragments into any of the six soul gem types.
- Petty Soul Gems require 2 fragment to craft, and can be broken down to 2 fragment.
- Lesser Soul Gems require 3 fragments to craft, and can be broken down to 3 fragments.
- Common Soul Gems require 4 fragments to craft, and can be broken down to 4 fragments.
- Greater Soul Gems require 5 fragments to craft, and can be broken down to 5 fragments.
- Grand and Black Soul Gems require 6 fragments to craft, and can be broken down to 6 fragments.
- Now with crafting stations in each of the hold capitals!
- Bear in mind that when crafting, the fragments have to be of the same kind, as there are 5 types in the game. When breaking down, the gems are converted into only one kind of fragment, so you can break down petty gems to make Grand ones.
