Artes Magicae - The Magical Arts

  • If you have any bugs or incompatibilities please send me a message or comment. Attaching the papyrus log would be helpful!
  • This mod is currently only in a very early release and is therefore incomplete!
  • This version is the vanilla version but Dawnguard and Dragonborn versions will be added at a later date.
  • Currently all new spells can be added via the MCM Menu spell tomes may be added at a later date.


Artes Magicae - The Magical Arts is a mod dedicated to improving the magic system in Skyrim by adding new spells and tweaking old ones as necessary.


  • Edited vanilla spell and tome names to allow for better sorting.
  • Added 14 new spells.

Extract the .7z file and put the .BSA and the .ESP into your Skyrim Data directory, or simply install using the Nexus Mod Manager.

  • Better Sorting: When using this with Better Sorting disable the "Spells" module of Better Sorting and if you want to get my Tome names while keeping Better Sorting book names make sure the Artes Magicae is lower than Better Sorting "Books" module on the load order.
