Hi,

Thank you for downloading and trying SoulMasters ENB

I have tried to get a good balance between nice bright days and fairly dark nights and interiors.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

IMPORTANT!! As of 14/01/13 current ENB is V0.138 I have not yet tested this so reverting back to v12.12.12

This mod uses Boris Vorontsov's ENB Version 12.12.12

There are two methods available to install and use this mod

Mod authors are not allowed to directly include certain of Boris's files so...

Installation Method A (Injector Version)

You will need to download the ENBInjector and ENBSeries.dll from Boris's Site here:

ENB V12.12.12

The two required files are in the Injectorversion Directory from the file you downloaded.

Installation:

Do not use the Nexus Mod Manager to install, you need to install manually!

Copy the files from my mod directory in to your Skyrim directory, usually:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\

Also copy the two files you downloaded from the enbdev site (ENBInjector and ENBSeries.dll)

Important - Don't overwrite the files from my mod directory with any others from the enbdev site or you will not get the same ENB effect!

Before you launch your Skyrim game you need to run the ENBInjector file and then minimise it to the System Tray.
Next launch Skyrim.
If you have installed everything correctly, during loading you should get a message top left of the screen about Boris Vorontsov's ENB V12.12.12

Installation Method B (Wrapper Version)

You will need to download the file D3D9.dll from Boris's site here:

ENB V12.12.12

The required file is in the WrapperVersion Directory from the file you downloaded.

Installation:

Do not use the Nexus Mod Manager to install, you need to install manually!

Copy the files from my mod directory in to your Skyrim directory, usually:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\

Also copy the file you downloaded from the enbdev site (D3D9.dll)

Important - Don't overwrite the files from my mod directory with any others from the enbdev site or you will not get the same ENB effect!

launch Skyrim.
If you have installed everything correctly, during loading you should get a message top left of the screen about Boris Vorontsov's ENB V12.12.12

My ENB settings are based on performance, so no Post Processing, Depth of Field or Ambient Occlusion have been used. If you wish to experiment with these settings feel free, but performance may well be affected. Personally after using many different ENB's I have come to prefer the less is more look!

Whilst running the game you can switch the ENB on or off with Shift and F10

Important:

Make sure to set bFloatPointRenderTarget to 1 in your skyrimprefs.ini if you have not already done so (usually My Documents\My Games\Skyrim)

To work correctly, sky lighting requires rendering objects to shadow, so manually edit the following lines in SkyrimPrefs.ini:
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bShadowsOnGrass=1

I hope you enjoy using SoulMasters ENB

Please take note: If you are using a pirated (ie non Steam enabled) version of the game, please do not leave comments about how this part of my mod or that is not working on your game! I am not prepared to waste my time trying to help you out with your illegal software! I'm unemployed, but still manage to pay for my games (they are what keep me sane) so if I can, you should be able to as well!
