**UPDATE**

Here's an optional update that changes the Short Sword of Mehrunes into an actual sword, instead of a dagger. For all game purposes, the sword is now a sword. Nothing major, just a new mesh and a small esp change.

To Install:
Download the update
Unpack the contents into your Data directory. Choose ONE of the esps, to match whichever version of the mod you are using. Say YES to overwrite everything that asks.
Cahal89-SoM-Ench.esp = normal version of mod
Cahal89-SoM-Ench-wChest.esp = version that includes the weapons in a chest behind Breezehome, for easy and early access.

Enchantable Sword of Mehrunes with Cheater Chest v2.0
Enchantable Sword of Mehrunes No Cheater Chest v2.0

This mod adds new items and new crafting recipes to the game including:
"Sword of Mehrunes" that can be smithed and enchanted.
"Mace of Molag Bal" that can be smithed and enchanted.
"Mehrunes Razor" that can be smithed and enchanted.
"Diadem of the Savant" that can be smithed and enchanted and also functions as a light armor helmet.

All items are now craftable under "Daedric Smithing" (and require that perk) and are temperable and enchantable except for the Short Sword of Mehrunes that comes pre-enchanted. The pre-enchanted sword has been removed from the non-cheater chest version but can still be spawned via the console. The Diadem of the Savant requires the "Advanced Smithing" perk in order to craft.

- Mehrunes' Razor (requires same materials as daedric dagger)
- Mace of Molag Bal (requires same materials as daedric mace)
- Short Sword of Mehrunes (requires same material as daedric sword)
- Diadem of the Savant (requires gold ingot, common ruby, common emerald, and is listed under "Steel" at forge)

Also included, is an optional script that increases the Mehrunes Razor enchantment to 10% chance of instant kill (for those who want more death and don't care about cheating)

This mod is best used with xEightballx's EzE Artifact Disenchanting mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8157 or similar mods.
For example, with an Enchanting skill of 100, you can make a Short Sword of Mehrunes with the Mehrunes Razor enchantment and Nord Bane enchantment to wreak havoc on the Nord population.

The chest itself contains 3 blank copies of Mehrunes Razor, 3 blank copies of the Short Sword of Mehrunes, 1 copy of an enchanted Short Sword of Mehrunes, and 3 blank copies of the Mace of Molag Bal.
The chest no longer respawns
(Note: The "no Cheater Chest" version does not contain the freebie chest behind Breezehome. Duh.)

Compatibility:
This mod only adds new items and adds new crafting recipes to the game, it does not change or alter anything and should be compatible with every other mod out there. The only incompatibility would be with any Breezehome house mod that replaces the exterior of the Breezehome house with something much larger, thereby engulfing the cheater chest and making it inaccessible (but only with the chest version).

Installation:
Drop .esp, textures folder, and meshes folder into Data folder and check the mod in NMM or Mod Manager or default launcher, whichever you use.
If you want to use the cheater script for Mehrunes Razor enchantment, just go into Optional folder and copy/paste the scripts folder into your Data folder.

Uninstall:
Delete my esp and "cahal89" folders from textures and meshes. Also, the DA07MehrunesRazorMagicEffectScript.pex from the scripts folder if you used my cheater version.

Uninstall (lazy method):
Unzip my mod into your data folder, choose to overwrite, then select "Undo" from "organize" tab.

Mesh/Tex used for Short Sword of Mehrunes is not made by me but I cannot recall where it came from originally. If it belongs to anyone who wants proper credit (and can prove it's theirs) please let know and I'll credit you properly. The rest is simply standard Bethesda content.
