Description:

An eye candy mod with a living area, new alchemy plants, and a new world space to call home. Followers can follow you, but will not follow everywhere. I don't know why this is, nor do I have time to ponder over it any more.

Details:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Markarth Botanical Gardens is an eye candy house mod with a crafting area and a small tent for you to sleep if you choose. There is a book that describes how Calcemo came to find this jewel and how he made it tourist ready.
You may live there, craft there, or just harvest what you need for alchemy experiments and move on.
This is my first real mod release, although I've been modding TES games since Morrowind, for my own pleasure. I have been fascinated with the hanging gardens book for years and have reproduce it many times in both Morrowind and Oblivion for my own pleasure. Each time I had the mod almost finished, I've had major computer problems throwing me back to the beginning. After try three in Skyrim, I made this instead.
The mod is pretty much as is. I make no guarantees, expressed or implied. I may try to improve on the aesthetics, but that's about it.
Included in Version 1.0:
A new world space next to Markarth with a book that describes the story behind the mod.
New alchemy plants + ingredients
Anything that is recolored is standalone and will not affect vanilla meshes, although I used vanilla meshes exclusively to make this mod.
Recolored mushrooms with vanilla ingredients. The corresponding ingredients are in the files if you want to take the time to change them and give them alchemical attributes.
Blackreach mushroom trees with new textures.
Two merchants
A small tent to call your own ( the one with the bookshelves) and storage and crafting areas.
A few animals and guards
Ketulah, a simple dog follower. (activate to follow, activate again to send home)
A new dirt and rock texture for the mushroom mesh.
New coloring for the cliffs and rock formations. They will not change vanilla meshes.
Two recolored landscape meshes. (will not affect vanilla game)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Incompatibility:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Any mod that changes the navmesh or area next to the Markarth gate, otherwise none. There should be little conflict as the mod is in its own worldspace.
This mod adds a lot of stuff in a small space, while the textures are not hi res, there are a lot of them. Low end computers may have a problem loading.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bugs:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are a few navmesh errors, but I have found these to also be in the vanilla game too, so I'm not going to not release because of it. There may also be a few door errors for doors not even near the door to the gardens, but they were not changed by this mod.
Depending upon your distance settings, the cliffs may disappear if you stand too far away. It looks funky, but it will not change how the mod functions.
I do not believe I've used anyone else's files, but I've been working on this mod for months now, so there may be something hidden, it was not intentional to not give credit if this is the case.
To The Good Lord
