Because I always disliked the unrealistic look of some bows in the game, I changed the model of elven, glass, ebony, daedric and dragonbonebow to the mesh of huntingbow and retextures them. Elven,ebony and glass still look like they made of wood with special treatment with moonstone or glass or ebony.

The standalone Dragon Hunter Bow does NOT require Dawnguard DLC.

They are also a bit more polished, because of the higher skills needed to craft them. Of course the dragonbonebow is made of dragonbone but without spikes or anything fancy.

Install: let it be done by NMM or simply drop the files in the proper place (folderstructure is correct).
If you never explored the skyrim folder structure, better use ModManager or don´t install any mods at all ;-)

This mod doesn´t contain any esp or esm files. It only contains meshes and the corresponding textures. The Dragonbonebow obviously recommends Dawnguard DLC. Only the standalone dragon hunter bow uses an esp file.

The dragonborn succeeded in crafting a bow from dragonbone. Grinding it too hard made it a
littlebit dark and the finish is uneven. But it works after the dragonborn reached advanced armor
crafting perk. It became a little heavy compared to the elven bow but its damage is a bit higher.

When the dragonborn tested the bow, it became obyious that this one is pretty fast.


This mod contains an esp !! Just install with NMM

Update:
As the dragonborn advances, he is now able to craft an ebony bow.

Update 1.04:
I´ve added a 4 in 1 pack with elven, glass, ebony and dragonbone bow in one pack.

Update 1.05:
As requested I uploaded a darker version of the ebony bow. I was curious how it may look like, so I did it.

Update 1.5:
Due to a reported texture incompatibility with a crossbow mod I renamed the textures of three bows. If you have any problem with textures using another mod, please uninstall the initial version and reinstall a 1-5 version. OVERWRITING will not solve the problem, because the conflicting textures will still be in place.

Finally added the daedric bow. Hope you like it.

NOTE: I highly recommend to use Selective Quivers by hl84. With this mod you can have one quiver for all types of arrows. I myself use nordheroquiver in a darker version.
