In short I was annoyed by the map markers which looks like its a town, like Riverwood, you've bought and not a manor. It looked quite messy on the map too to be honest.
This little mod changes the big town-markers, which signify your purchased houses/land in the Hearthfire DLC, to a smaller more subtle house-marker like the one in Kynesgrove. Alternate version 2 uses an unused marker. Choose which one you like the best.
To install use mod manager or decompress the file and drop it in skyrim/data.
This mod requires Hearthfire obviously.
