About this mod

Since vampire\'s are undead and therefore don\'t breathe, they also should not sufficate underwater. This small mod fixes that.

This mod prevents the vampire race from drowning. I thought it was kind of silly that undead creatures die from drowning while there... welll dead so don't breathe.

Basically this mod adds the WaterBreathing abillity to Vampire's with the exption of Argonian's. It prevents playing the breathing sound when resurfacing, only to vampire's. I made the abilities unique so there shouldn't be conflicts with other Vampire mods. Unless they do something similar to the Vampire Race.

Installation:

Download the file suitable for you're game. There is one for dawnguard and a none downguard version. If you don't pick the right verion you're game will crash on startup.

Make sure that file selection is enabled in the SkyrimPref.ini, you can find the ini in you’re Documents\My Games\Skyrim. Add the following if file selection is missing.

[Launcher]
bEnableFileSelection=1

Then copy the Vampire's Underwater suffocation FIX 1.2.esp to the data folder in the game directory. I assume you know how to find you're game directory!

That’s it.

If you want to remove the breathing sound from all races then I suggest you install Alek's mod:
Waterbreathing Breathless Emerge

Update 1.2:
I removed some unwanted settings. To install, just replace the old file with the new one.
If it's not working rightaway you should (Bethesda best practice) remove the old .esp, load you're game and then make a new save. Don't override a old one! Quit the game, enable the new version and load you're game again.

I added a non Dawnguard version. Thank you Vanityxpride for reporting loading bug!

Probaly this is final version because I don't see a reason to develop this mod any further. Unless one of you make's a great suggestion or found something wrong.
