Black_Iron is complete texture remake of Skyrim staple arms n armor class - Iron. Beside appearance and obvious (visual) changes, it will add new crafting material - Black Iron - as well as one small (fight) quest for some even better items of its class.

Black_Iron is complete texture remake of Skyrim staple arms n armor class - Iron. Beside appearance and obvious (visual) changes, it will add new crafting material - Black Iron - as well as one small (fight) quest for some even better items of its class.
Lowly Iron items are in Skyrim used by all (poor n rich) classes and their original completely destroyed look - for this purpose - doesn't work well, thus this mod in its present (fit for all) form. Game Iron (original) stats are unchanged.
To craft this new Black Iron (normal grade) items - you don't require any special smithing skills or some exotic / hard to find materials so you can have them from the very start but if you want to obtain them in somewhat better / more desirable form look for them in Redhand Camp (North Coast near Broken Oar Grotto).
To install you need to navigate to your Steam/SteamApps/common/skyrim - game folder and paste / drag n drop in it my Data (mod) folder. Allow overwrite!
If you don't like this new look, simply delete / remove my mod.esp and (check for names my mod) files from Data/textures n meshes/armors/iron - and original look will be restored to your game.
Bugs/conflicts: none known - but take care not to overwrite them by accident!
Note on v1.1 Update Only: All Iron weapons now exist in Black Iron version as well as Black Iron Honed Arrows. Some minor changes and additions to Redhand Camp.
Update .esp only - install after v1.0 (full version).
Note on v1.2: Full version - some minor changes / additions - slightly darker weapon blades.
