This is my first ever published mod, so be kind. :-)

I built this standalone mod on the work and ideas from SpookyJs Slightly Improved Constellations and HLP Night Sky. I thought others out there might like to see the outlines of the constellations as they gaze up at the night sky.

I used the Astronomy Lore page from UESPWiki to help identify the shapes, so I could figure out how to connect the dots. The constellation outlines are subtle, but visible. They arent neon green, so dont detract from the beauty of the night sky. I also used the images as a guide to create the illustrations in the optional item "Azarath's Star Guide" book.

It will work fine using the vanilla sky textures, but I use and really like HLP Night Sky, and it really looks good with it. My mod replaces both constellation files, so if you want to use both mods, install mine after installing HLP Night Sky.


Installation:
Choose the constellation (or the default of all) to have outlined during mod activation. Later, if you want to change to a different option, just deactivate and then activate again. You can also choose whether to install the .esp plugin that adds "Azarath's Star Guide" to your inventory.

I take no responsibility if this mod doesnt work for you or if you dont like it. There shouldnt be any problems, since its just a basic texture mod. This mod replaces (if present) the skyrimconstellations1.dds and skyrimconstellations2.dds files in your Data>Textures>Sky folder. The .esp plugin only adds one book, so shouldn't break anything whether you use it or not.


Versions:
1.0 - Initial Release
1.1 - FOMOD installer to preview and choose which constellation to outline during mod activation through NMM. Each constellation also has its own optional standalone download if you only want to download just that particular constellation outline. The standalone versions will copy a sample of the shape in your Data folder, so you will know what to look for in the sky.
1.2 - Added "Azarath's Star Guide" book as an optional install item. This .esp will add the book to the player's inventory. Removed the individual constellation download files from the Nexus in favor of the single download with installer options.
