About this mod

Ever had the thought cross your mind that swords and daggers are more logical to cause bleeding instead of axes? Swords and daggers now cause bleeding, Axes crit.

WARNING: MUST COME AFTER "DUEL: COMBAT REALISM" IN THE MOD LOAD ORDER else it won't work (if you have it).

Ever had the thought cross your mind that swords and daggers are more logical to cause bleeding instead of axes?

Swords and daggers:

-Daggers are now included in the one handed Bladesman perk

-Bladesman and Deep Wounds perks now do bleed instead of crit

-Bleeding damage increased substantially; even more so for two handed swords (to account for the slower swing and less stackability).

*note- As far as I can tell, bleed is not multiplied by backstabs.

Axes:

-Limbsplitter and Hack and Slash perks now have critical hit and damage instead of bleed

-Crit damage modifier increased from:

Hack and slash 0/25/50 to 25/50/75
Limbsplitter 0/25/50 to 25/50/75

Vanilla crit damage I don't think was enough, plus axes are slower so crit less often

I also changed the shape of the perk tree to more closely resemble the graphic behind it

Interesting thing I found while making this; the bleed effect comes from a combat hit spell called PerkBleedSWORD leading me to believe that the game originally worked like how I've now changed it.

Had fun drawing the doodles up top while making this.

Feedback appreciated, I'm not 100% sure about the balancing.

PS: I want to thank Mokz at skyrimforums for giving me a little help and support during the creation of this mod :)

Changed mace description back to default (forgot to change back after experimenting with mace perk).

Hack and slash from 50/75/100 to 25/50/75
Limbsplitter from 50/75/100 to 25/50/75

Fixed rank 2 and 3 of bladesman (they were left at rank 1 bleed damage by mistake), should be working fine now sorry.
