About this mod

Ever wanted to unequip what's in your left hand at the press of a hotkey? Look no further!

Favourite Fist adds three "spells" that do exactly that - they unequip whatever's in your left hand, right hand or both hands. They appear in the "Powers" category in the Magic menu, and can be favourited and hotkeyed.

This is useful for Spellsword-type characters who want to be able to switch between sword & spell and sword-only for blocking, without the tedium of going into the favourites menu each and ever time. This is also good for people who like hand-to-hand combat mods.

NOTE:
This mod is implemented by adding fake spells and a script that listens for when those spells are equipped, and immediately unequips them. For this reason the equip-spell animation plays for a split second. If you instantly press the button while that's playing, you could get a glitch where your character will do nothing or, in a very rare case, will fail to unequip the fake spell. And there's no way around this, sorry. You just have to not rush for mashing the button. Think of it as a way to balance out your newly gained ability to switch to blocking so quickly :) .

Changelog
Update 1.4:
* Implementation revamped. The script is no longer on a Reference Alias and is instead on a magic effect that can be added and removed like any other. Just type 'help "Favourite Fist Ability" in the console to get its ID and then use AddSpell/RemoveSpell. Also, if the script ever gets stuck and you end up with an invisible spell in your hand, just cast it and it will reset the effect.
Update 1.3:
* General improvement that should (in theory) decrease the number of problems with load order and the mod not activating. Requires patch 1.6.
Update 1.2:
* Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented some or all of the powers from being added on game load.
Update 1.1:
* Fixed a bug that caused incompatibility with other mods.
