About this mod

This is a re-balancing of the light and dark values in the game, and a re-balancing of colors to reflect real world values without exaggerating Saturation. Using RCRN 3.1 Pure and RCRN 2.1 Classic.

Light in the Darkness 3.2 - For RCRN 3.1 Pure, and RCRN 2.1 Classic

Light in Darkness v3.2, CTD fix for both files.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Their are two different files this time:

Light in Darkness v3.2 injFX_Settings for RCRN Pure v3.1

Light in Darkness v3.2 injFX_Settings for RCRN Classic v2.1

Make sure you chose wisely ;)

I believe, Light in Darkness v3.2 injFX_Settings for RCRN Classic v2.1, is the better of the two.
The best work I've done yet!

Anyways Enjoy

Easier to manage dungeons less gloom but still challenging.
Little brighter roads at night, depending on weather.

This Mod is an attempt to capture real world values of light, dark, shadow, ambient light and color.

The light and dark values are balanced with the time of day. So night feels like real world night but not unrealistically dark for a game. Bright days are just that. Mornings and dusk will feel more realistic

The ambient light is balanced in a way that allows nights to get very dark. However, night time ambient light values are dependent on how dark the night is. A night with both moons out and the northern lights dancing in the sky, will be a brighter night then one with out those light sources. Makes the game more realistic when there are different degrees of darkness at night, and torches now have value.

Shadows and interiors will feel more balanced and realistic.

Light in the Darkness: better visibility in darkness because of real light values. Light from torches and other light sources reach deeper into darkness in a realistic way without adding unrealistic color tints.

Colors have been rebalanced a well.
