I'm currently taking a long break so I might not see your comment. I have also disabled my inbox for
a while. Hope you understand and thank you very much!

A mod by SparrowPrince AKA OpticShooter.

This small but mighty texture mod enhances the distant low-detail terrain by re-creating from
scratch, a new more detailed and more defined texture map. This makes the distant terrain look
far better because it reduces blotchy patches, makes the terrain blend better, and generally
makes it all look much crisper.

This affects everything from snow to dirt.

As always - No performance loss!

I still don't get it!

The distant terrain is covered with a texture called "noise" and changing this file for the better
will make your game look cooler. It's basically a nice trick to make the terrain look more detailed.
Bethesda first started using this method in Oblivion with the 1.2 patch and they have used it ever

Can you explain the different options?

Classic: Bigger and broader noise. Less condensed than the Grass variation. Will help with making
sharp drops more cliff-like. Good on flatter ground too.

Grass: Basically more condensed and noisy. Will help the normal 3D grass have a better transition.
Will look good on flatter ground, but sharp drops won't look as good as Classic.

Earth: In between the other two. Nice on both surfaces, but not as detailed as the more dedicated
textures. A nice balance.

Find where your TESV.exe is located at Program Files (x86) / Steam / SteamApps / common / skyrim and in
this folder is a folder called "Data". Drag one of my "Textures" folders from this mod into there and MERGE it. Done!
Uninstall is the same, but just delete the files you installed. If you can't remember what you installed
just re-download the mod and look at the file structure!

- Improved visual quality of most new noise types added in 1.5.
- New pictures in installer. Make sure you go to expand the installer window to get
a better idea of the differences.

- Reduced number of variations for obvious reasons. Dat confusion!
- Classic version now improved with more detail and depth.
- New Grass variation. Has deeper and more compact detail.
- New Earth variation. This one is in between Classic and Grass.
- New pictures for installer.
