About this mod

Adds 2 spells to the game, 'Teleport' and 'Mark and Recall.' Casting these spells brings up menus allowing the player to select their destination. 'Return' allows you to teleport back to the exact spot you last teleported from. Mark and Recall enables the use of 9 custom locations to teleport to.

DESCRIPTION

Adds 2 spells to the game, 'Teleport' and 'Mark and Recall'. When cast each brings up a menu allowing the player to select their destination.
  • Can be used while in interior cells and/or while encumbered.
  • Spell settings are highly configurable in MCM menu.
  • Locations need discovered before appearing in menus.
  • For houses you need the respective key.
  • For other locations you generally need to meet appropriate quest criteria.

'Return' allows you to teleport back to the exact spot you last teleported from.
For example, if you are in a dungeon and become encumbered:
  • Cast 'Teleport' choose somewhere to drop/sell your goods.
  • Cast 'Teleport' again and select 'Return.'
  • You will be placed back exactly where you were in the dungeon (as long as you didn't teleport elsewhere before using 'Return').

MECHANICS:
CONCENTRATION
Casting the spells require a 'Charge' up time (hold down cast button). Concentration can be broken, cancelling the spell cast (not fully charging the spell or chance when receiving damage).

ALTERATION MASTERY SCALING
Many spell mechanics scale with higher Alteration Level: lower 'Charge' duration, lower spell cooldown duration, higher chance to ignore hits, lower chance for Random Occurrences.

MAGICKA COST SCALING
Fixed base amount with addtional scaling cost based on Distance traveled and % of Carry Weight/Capacity.

XP SCALING
XP gained scales with Magicka Spent on cast. Partially Charged (ie. spell button released before 'Fully Charged') casts result in significantly less XP)

RANDOM OCCURRENCES (NOT IMPLEMENTED)
Bad things may happen if you attempt to 'Teleport' without a 'Full Charge' or without sufficient Magicka


MCM OPTIONS:
GENERAL CONFIGS
  • Quick Teleport (When disabled selecting a hold will bring up an additional menu with more specific locations to choose from)
  • Divided Holds (When enabled selecting 'Holds' from the root menu will now open an additional menu with the options 'Major' and 'Minor.')
  • Auto Cast on Charge (When enabled both 'Teleport' and 'Mark and Recall' will automatically cast.)
  • Spell Charge Time Min/Max (Sliders range from Min: 0.5 - 1.0 and Max: 3.5-5.0)
  • Random Occurrence Chance Min/Max (Sliders range from Min: 85-100 and Max: 85-100)

CHEAT MODE OPTIONS (When enabled spells no longer grant XP)
  • No Alteration Requirement (When Enabled you get to use all 9 marks at any Alteration level. Otherwise you get one every 10 levels 10-90)
  • No Discovery (When Enabled allows you to teleport to destinations without first discovering them.)
  • Ignore Hits (When Enabled hits no longer have a chance to interrupt your concentration.)
  • Disable Magicka Cost (When Enabled 'Teleport' and 'Mark and Recall' cost no Magicka)
  • Quest Bypass (When Enabled allows additional locations similar to 'No Discovery' that would otherwise require a completed quest to select.)
  • Disable Spell Cooldown (When Enabled you no longer gain a cooldown debuff after casting 'Teleport' and 'Mark and Recall'.)
  • Disable Random Occurrences (When Enabled you no longer incur any Random Occurrences.)

TELEPORT CONFIGS (NOT IMPLEMENTED)
  • Enable/Disable most menu locations

MARK AND RECALL CONFIGS
  • Rename/Delete 'Marks' from the MCM

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Your map does not update when traveling to and from interior cells via 'Teleport' and 'Mark and Recall'

This mod allows player to do something the game was never built with the intention of doing. That being said, there of course is always the chance that quests may become broken if you Teleport at certain times. Most cases can be fixed with the console or simply not using it at times that may be foolish. If you experience any problems related to broken quests please let me know and I will see if I can patch it out.
