I was looking for ideas for my next mod and I randomly edited files in Gimp when I suddenly noticed the details that appeared on landscape textures.
This mod is meant to reveal those details and colors that have been hidden inside Skyrim's gray and colorless textures. It will bring those barely invisible stones on the ground to visibility, reveal more moss on ground, highlights light and shadows etc. This mod is based on vanilla textures. It shouldn't affect your FPS that much because only added details (that aren't there normally) are shadows.
Installation
1. Download Details_revealed_(version).zip
2. Extract the textures file found inside Data folder into Skyrim Data folder (.../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/)
3. Done! The mod should work now.
Uninstallation
Remove files from Skyrim Data folder. It should not affect gameplay.
Versions
I am aiming at changing all the textures detailed and colorful and if I can, I'll make HD versions as well.
