I have tried to recreate the lighting using my background as a photographer for a more natural look.

I fine tuned the following list.

Daytime: Bright glare in full sun with minimum burnt out highlights. A nice balance.
Good shadow contrast, natural color & sky.

Night: Moonless nights are reasonably dark with slight shadow present.
You can move around without the need for a torch in most area's.
Moon filled nights are slightly brighter with moon shadow.

Cities at night are darker as if really lit by small fire pits as in Whiterun.
Most fire pits in skyrim are glowing red amber's so they do not give off a lot of yellow light.
More of a softer reddish orange glow.

Interiors: Strong shadows, softer yellow lighting, good contrast from dark to light areas.

Dungeons: Dark but not pitch black, a torch maybe needed on some locations.
Softer lighting and good contrast, natural color.

Dawn & Dusk: are softer with nice color.

I liked the original "Realistic Lighting With Customization" but wanted to fine tune
to suit my tastes and monitor.

If you like please "Endorse".
Feedback welcome and appreciated.

Different versions available to choose from: The original has low depth of field. Objects in the distance are blurry through the rain or fog.
The second newer version has more depth of field and objects at a distance are clearer and more visible through the rain and fog.
The third is an optional version by request, it has much brighter interiors with lower contrast for a smokey effect. (Smoke haze)

New Optional version 1.2d has darker dungeons:
Torch's needed in most dungeons. The mod called "Torches for Realistic Lighting" recommended. This new optional version is only for players who want darker dungeons then what is in the more balanced main file version 1.2

Instructions: Install the Realistic Lighting With Customization mod (see link below) and then backup the current RealisticLighting.ini and replace it with mine. Then double click on the Realistic Lighting Patcher.jar to install my custom lighting settings. (both files are found in your data folder)

Make sure that the Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp loads after Realistic Lighting.esp in your data load order.

If updating: Replace your RealisticLighting.ini file in your data folder with the new 1.1 version. Then double click on your Realistic Lighting Patcher.jar file in your data folder to use new settings. Check that the Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp loads after Realistic Lighting.esp in your data load order.

Note:The main mod and my custom Ini file needs java to run. Java can be found from the link below:
