OK so I know there are a few other smelting mods out there, but if you're like me they are almost complete, but wish there was a tweak here or there. Some add so many items with no way to sort threw the laundry list to what you can actually smelt down. Others make categories but still you have to go into each one to see if you can smelt something; And some just add crazy recipes with no logic behind it.

Enter Salvage Material:

So I've created a mod that I believe is lore friendly, has accurate reclaiming of materials, and most importantly hides any Smelting / Tanning Rack recipe you can't use. Yes you read right, any recipe you do not have the required ingredient to complete will remain hidden from the list in the Smelter and Tanning Racks only. This will not effect other stations.
You can now open the Smelter or Tanning rack and only see the recipes you can use.
No categories to shuffle thru, no huge Misc list with a hundred greyed out recipes to scroll thru. Just a list, big or small depending on what you have in your inventory, showing what you can actually salvage. When it turns grey you're missing an ingredient. The grey ones will disappear once you exit the Smelter / Tanning Rack and open it again. Only showing what you can currently salvage.

To make the recipes I used the following logic:
If 4 ingredients then get full amount of highest material of item type, unless if 3 ingot types then full amount of item type.
If 3 ingredients then get -1 of highest material of item type, unless if 2 ingot types then full amount of item type, unless Daedric.
If 2 ingredients then get -1 of highest material of item type, unless if 1 ingot to create, then requires 2 items to salvage, unless Leather type then get -1 Leather of crafting recipe.
Plain Rings and Necklaces require 6 units to salvage into 1 ingot of item type.

For Arrows I took their Vanilla value & divided that by their Ingot Type to get how many are needed to smelt back into a single Ingot.

What this mod does:
Add salvage recipes for almost all vanilla equipment to the Smelter or Tanning Rack.
Salvage all creatable items from the Forge, Weapons, Armor, Rings, Necklaces.
Smelt Weapons & Armor down to ingots.
Smelt Necklaces & Rings down to ingots or Gems.
Breakdown Dragon gear into either Bones or Scales.
Smelt Arrows to Ingots.
Smelt All Dwarven "junk" metal.

What this mod does NOT do: (subject to change)
Fix any broken recipes, or add any new recipes for any other stations.
Salvage Artifacts, Unique or Enchanted gear. (However player made enchanted gear will still salvage)
Salvage any clutter type.

What I still need to do:
Salvage Circlets into ingots or gems.
Add any missing recipes, as I'm sure you'll find some.
Possibly add clutter, although probably limit to just Silverware.
I'm also thinking of smelting 2 ores of different types to 1 new ingot of another type. This will be a separate file, and be like 1 Corundum + 1 Gold = Dwarven; or 1 Orichalcum + 1 Quicksilver = 1 Malachite, etc etc. I already have them mapped out just haven't created the esp yet.

I really want to read what you guys think about what was done and what I propose, so feedback is always welcome. Also please tell me any bugs or missing recipes there are. Finally where do you want this to go? Tell me what you'd like to see salvageable, I may oblige.
I'd like to make this NMM compatible, but don't know how, unless it automatic.

v1: Release, covers all Forge craftable gear, but also most vanilla equipment too.
v1.01: Hid vanilla Goat Hide recipe.
v1.02: Gold Amethyst Necklace gives 2 Flawless Amethysts, Silver Garnet Necklace gives 2 Flawless Garnets, Smelt 100 Septims into 1 Gold Ingot.
v1.03: Longbow, Hunting bow, Torches, & Firewood will salvage into 2 Charcoal at Smelter. Arrows to Ingots.
v1.04: Imperial Bow & Light Shield salvage to Charcoal. Imperial Light Armor, Stormcloak, & Guards Armor salvageable.
v1.05: Forsworn Armor added to Tanning Rack.
v1.06: Adjusted Logic of Leather, Ring, and Necklace. All Dwarven "junk" metal salvageable.
v1.07: Added Scimitar Salvage to Steel Ingots. Good catch Taz.
v1.08: Iron Ingots + Charcoal can me re-smelted to create a Steel Ingot. (as request)
