This mod adds several craftable and upgradeable shields to the game. It also makes the Whiterun guard shield craftable.
- Permissions and credits
*In it's current version, this mod is DEMO, and only includes four new shields. If there's enough interest/requests, a may make some more, and add some of these shields to the levelled items lists for bandits/npcs.
Frustrated with Skyrim's soulless shields?
This mod adds several craftable and upgradeable shields to the game, using the generic stormcloak/guard shield as a template. Each one has stats similar to the guard shields, and has both a LIGHT and HEAVY armour version. It also makes the Whiterun guard shield craftable once *spoiler alert* the player becomes thane of Whiterun.
The shield designs in the current version include:
*Black Marsh Shield: the Hist tree
*High Rock Shield: a Breton symbol, also found on Anvil's shield in Oblivion
*Bruma Shield: a skyrimified version of Bruma's guard shield
*Skingrad Shield: a skyrimified version of Skingrad's guard shield.
*Mudcrab Shield: it had to be done.
*Death Lord Shield: stylised Draugr Death Lord head.
*Akatosh Shield: a shield with the the "amulet of kings" Akatosh symbol.
