I was only slightly more lucky. Entered Solitude, saw the execution but was distracted somehow (probably by the new environment), reloaded, used the secondary entrance, missed everything.
I was actually a little annoyed that you couldn't use it to sneak out after some of the DB missions... same with the sewer grates in the streets.
Only tangentially related, but on my first playthrough I actually entered the city using the secret entrance, which does trigger the execution scene but since I didn't come in through the main gate I never saw it. Made for some very confusing conversations.
Thanks pals. Sometimes I feel I miss the essence here, but then again the imageshare has all the basics (battles, dragons, armors, mods, pinups) covered. And yes, Sam Fisher would totally exploit that.
