With a focused stare and a steady hand Akhaz'iir released the bow string. The arrow shot forth with purpose towards its intended target. The ornery cave bear for which the arrow was intended had gotten surrounded by a roaming pack of red wolves, none too happy about the bear's intrusion into their territory. Cornered, the bear growled fiercely as the arrow drew ever closer. Just as the wolves inched closer the arrow struck its target. With a loud groan and a whimper the bear fell softly to the ground. The wolves scattered, apparently spooked by the sudden death of the bear.
