10th of First Seed 4E 201 Just after breakfast
It took very long until I finally fell asleep. I was still tired when Jordis woke me up. She made breakfast. I took on my armor as always and went downstairs. Ysolda´s chair was empty... And it always will be now, unless I´ll find someone worthy to sit on it. Jordis and I had breakfast together. She tried to look as always but I could see that she was sad somehow.
"What is it Jordis? I know you´re sad about something." I asked her. She answered: "It´s just... Seeing you so sad makes me sad, too, my Thane! That´s why I made breakfast for you. I wanted to make you a bit happy!" "Thank you, Jordis... You´re more than a Housecarl... You are a real friend!", I said to her. And I meant it. Jordis was a real friend to me all the time. While Hadvar was my best male friend, she was my best female friend. We had breakfast together and then I started writing this. Soon I´ll go to Castle Dour and see if General Tullius has got something for me.
