About this image

I was able to capture some video of the solar eclipse here in the US and I posted it up on YouTube in case anyone might want to take a look. The image goes well with it. We didn't have the proper lenses to actually look up at it, but we captured the magic it creates when looking down.

Thank you very much Angie. I really was excited to post it for my friends that would not have been able to see the eclipse.

      Thank you for that!
We had a total solar eclipse many years ago in germany (11. August 1999), but when it was time, I could not see anything because it was cloudy.
But it was eerily still, all the birds were silent. Almost a creepy atmosphere.

I've just walked out and then went back in. Never thought of doing that, really neat stuff.

Yea, the shadows do some wild things. Next time I'll have a much larger screen to capture it on. 2024! Thank you Joebe.

Nice one! I got some pictures of the leaves making the same thing since we got 99.5 percent coverage.

Thank you Wade. The crescents were so neat and all over the place! I think we were at 97%. The color spectrum effect was unnerving.

My own shadow being rather alien like along with the dramatic drop in temperature was pretty creepy too.

I had to try something. I couldn't get the corona effect around her head like I wanted. I'm not too good with the ENB GUI. Thanks Josh!

Hehehe, thank you Jonathan. I hope you got a peek at it as well, I can only imagine what it would be like to be in a heavily wooded area with this going on. The ground would be sparkling!

    Oh Wow Patrick
At first glance, I really thought you had caught a solar eclipse.
But then where I realized that it is hands, just great that match with the shadows.m0117.gif

Thank you Frank. It was very cool to see how the shadows were effected by the eclipse.
