Usually cool and levelheaded, J'kidar is the elder of the Suthay-raht Khajiit brothers who appear in House Dres. When his twin J'zigri is taken by slavers, he makes it his mission to see his brother free again. When a solo rescue attempt fails, he flees to Raven Rock, seeking assistance from the patrons of the Retching Netch. That's where you come in.

J'kidar was my first experience of voicing and writing for Khajiit, and I really enjoyed the challenge. Not-quite-Arabian, not-quite Russian, with a smidge of Caribbean mixed in, the accent was pretty tough to get right, but I hope my interpretation doesn't stick out too much. Just chalk any inconsistencies up to the brothers' unusual breed! My favourite line? "J'kidar is lover, not fighter".

Interesting tidbit: I've attempted to maintain a loose sense of canon with Moonpath to Elsweyr, another mod I've contributed writing towards via my Typo Patch. The Khajiit are fleeing the rise of the Thalmor, and actually are originally from Tenmar Forest, where much of Moonpath takes place.
