Before meeting Jarl Ulfric, Zane asked Leo to meat him in the CandleHearth hall. Zane sounded a bit shaky so Leo made this a priority before the battle. Leo stood because Zane was so pale like he was going to pass out. The two recounted the year and a half they traveled together, Elsweyr, The war, fighting dragons, becoming archmage, mastering destruction magic, becoming head of the companions, acquiring their first mansion, etc. Zane still looked as though though this was goodbye but he reassured Leo, this was not the case. But, before any real words were exchanged, the two hit the road again, already keeping the Jarl waiting. After the speech, Leo tore through the streets of Solitude using the magic of the skies, Zane toiling behind him, cloaking the soldiers in valor. General Tullius put up a small fight but was quickly smoldered by the intense energy. Leo let Ulfric take the final blow. After Ulfric's moving speech, they all headed back to Windhelm to feast. As Leo past by Zane's chair on the way to the nearest chair after having a few drinks, Zane reached for his hand. To his surprise, his hand met with Leo's who was already reaching for him. Leo leaned in as Zane rose to his feet and landed a soft kiss on his lips. Zane, his face red, remained quiet as the Nords around cheered in merriment. Ghalmor retorted, 'About time'.
