You brought flooowers again! *sniffles* Awww... *_*
And a beautiful lake to jump in and swim... Perfect!

I wonder how you can all have such beautiful blue water... o.o" I want it as well, but I don't want to change my watermods...

Who doesn't like flowers? Thank you.

Hmm...what water mod are you using? Are you using the watercolor mod?

I am using Pure Water and Pure Water Waterfalls, which make the water crystal clear, so that you can look on the ground if it is not very deep. It looks quite realistic imho, but had some glitching. (The funny part is, that a nice bluish colored water clipped through for whatever reason sometimes, and you couldn't get rid of it until you rebooted Skyrim.
Then I installed waves, and loaded it before PW and PW Waterfalls, and the annoying glitching was gone all of a sudden.
Together with that, I have the green water fix installed, and the black water fix for CoT. (The CoT fix made stuff a lot better, CoT was the reason I had to get rid of vanilla water, because it became all black and ugly)
But I don't know which watercolor mod you mean. :o I'd like to keep the water as clear as it is, I don't like 'milky' water, but have it blue instead of... well... whatever color is used...

I've tried Pure Waters once to see what it looks like, didn't like it & removed it immediately. A while ago, I was using the popular WATER mod. It was okay, but didn't suit my taste. Eventually I moved onto to Realistic Water, which is the best looking one. Combine that with the watercolor mod & you get colors like the pic above.

I believe Realistic Water gets rid of the green water bug & it includes waves as an option. I used CoT for a while in the past. After a while though, didn't like it & removed it. Had to start a new game since I wasn't sure about removing it midway through.

This is the watercolor, though it only works with Realistic Water.

You wouldn't have to start a new game if you removed CoT completely. I experimented with weather mods, uninstalled CoT, and installed Vivid in its place, just to see the difference. I only found that whatever combination I used in the MCM menu wasn't to my taste. Either it was too bright, or too dark, or too colorful or too desaturated, I just didn't like it overall, although the skies looked really great. I don't know if it is due to CoTs lighting. I'm quite used to it. I only saw Skyrim without it for 1 hour or so, and that only included 5 minutes of staring at the sunset after the tutorial...
Anyway, I got it back, the only thing I'm not using is the darker dungeon plugin. But I like warmer interiors and the nightlevel I chose. It only makes water look... black. (Never really noticed that before I found the patch and tried it)

I don't even really know what the oh so popular "green water bug" is. Either because my water has always been black anyway, and I am using the patch since ages, or I don't know. I thought it meant to remove the blurry sight under water, and make it look clear or whatever else but no one ever explained its real purpose... o.o" The onl GREEN water I have is around the volcanic area at the hot springs, and there it belongs

Well after trying Skyrim SE yesterday and giving up after 2 days of trying and converting mods (most do work indeed, just my favorite house won't, so... nope, no SE for me at this point. xD Not to mention the character editor... eeew...) so well I could backup my Skyrim folder and give RW2 a try... I really don't like changes... but... that blue...

Not just CoT, but other mods as well. I guess it depends on the mod itself. If it's weapons/armor, removing them midway through should be harmless. I think the mods that come with scripts can cause problems down the line. From what I read, most ENB's are incompatible with weather mods, such as CoT. I think the same goes with lighting mods as well, unless stated.

You pretty much explained what the green water bug is. It removes that green/blurry tint when swimming underwater. Never experienced the black water problem, so I can't say much on that.

I won't be moving to SE at all. I don't see a point to it. The one major advantage it has is it being much more stable than the old version, though I haven't experienced any problems with CTD & the likes. I think I've done all the tweaks I needed to, plus my mod count is at 70, so that helps. All the good mods are on this side anyway. I think some of the modders have left/moved on.

My modcount is 250 at the moment. The savegame I use is the one I started the game with. (Well after starting 8 times because of the damn marriage bug and not being able to buy stupid Breezehome)
Anyway, I have installed, and uninstalled a LOT of heavily scripted mods. I am still using heavily scripted mods even. A lot of stuff that adds things to the game, visible improvements aaand so on.
I do not get CTDs, and if I do, it's most likely that I just forgot to clean my savegame off orphaned scripts after removing something. Once done, CTD's gone.

So I wouldn't say that SE is more stable, in fact, it's pretty much nonsense. SE is faster in handling things, and it may - like FO4 be a little more forgiving due to its engine (although I know people whose FO4 crashes all along the way, god knows what they're doing xD)
In the end it's all a matter of how you treat yourr game and how much you know about modding, that's it.

From my testing, I can say that SE looks nice, but I felt the same about Oldrim when I exited the tutorial so... *shrugs* Second thing is: If you're running more esps/esms you need to install a fix, otherwise you lose FPS for no reason. Third, it's fairly easy to convert Oldrim Mods over - in most cases you can even use the Oldrim esp file. (Yeah yeah the guide says you should resave it in the 64bit CK, but THAT breaks some mods. It's only really needed for certain ones ) Fourth: Against all assumptions you CAN indeed use your Oldrim save in SE - that helps a lot with character creation, since SE doesn't have RaceMenu, which Oldrim does... (Okay I haven't actually tried that, but I guess in the worst case you'd just have to reapply your hair/eyes because they may be sorted in another order in SE) Fifth, of course it runs pretty smooth on a 64bit system.

But yeah it still lacks SKSE and SkyUI, but it was nice to at least check it out. I'll probably stay with Oldrim as well... ^^

Most likely won't happen. Since my first image of her was uploaded here, she has undergone numerous changes. At this point, her appearance is final. Took me a long time to get her to look the way I want. Thanks though.
