Great showcase
Where can I find this beautiful sabre?
*stares at Nirnroot*
How am I supposed to say something about your shots if you place SUCH a distraction right underneath them?
Hehe... Just kidding here. She looks amazing. (Well that woman, I mean. I wouldn't have to say that if we were talking about a perfect little Nirnroot... )
Your SNC sets are always great and nice to look at. I don't know her again, but that's pretty common for me...
Still great work.
Good job.
Movie Valeria was a mix of Valeria and Belit from the books/comics i believe.
She's kind of an icon when it comes to female fantasy swordmaidens from the 80's. Quite a few movies were realeased during this time, but most of them was just rubbish. The Conan movie however reached cult status - at least here in Sweden - and Valeria is one of the reasons I'd say - strong female warriors were not too common. Red Sonja would be the other epic female fantasy character from this decade, but sadly the movie about her with Brigitte Nielsen wasn't all too good - although I did like Brigitte dressed up as Red Sonja...
I did the etching my self.
I love her blue eyes and her cheekiness... if I remember the film right (loooong time ago I saw it) she was always very stern... but I love your version much more... I think pirates and thiefs should have a natural sarkasm and audacity... and you've catched that perfectly
What else could I say than... outstanding images, Rick... and I like the last pic
Also liked the bonus shot,.. love that black background,..
It's a movie I've seen multiple times as well and I've also always liked this female rogue warrior. She has a cocky attitude that really appeals to me and in the 80's when this movie came out, it was just about the coolest you could see if you were into fantasy.
It was her spirit I wanted to capture the most. The likeness is a bit far off, but as I said, this is my version after all. It's fun doing images of characters you have an idea about. I might do more Conan characters since I've read quite a lot of the novels when I was younger.
The bonus was taken during this pose session with Valeria, but I couldn't resist capture it with a screenshot, since it looked very neat indeed against the black darkness of nightfall.
