When Hearthfire first came out, they added the ability to adopt children, which I thought was kind of fun.  Unfortunately, I was playing an Argonian and Bethesda didn't add any Argonian kids to the game, so I downloaded Ram-Ku so I could have a foster son.  Sorry, but I'm just racist that way, I didn't want to adopt human kids, I wanted to stick to my own kind.  If you had started your original Elder Scrolls experience freeing Argonian and Khajit slaves in Morrowind, you would understand why an Argonian assassin wouldn't put up with anyone's crap.  Naturally, I got him a matching outfit.
