Your Sylwana is gorgeous and as for this image...just wow...charming, coy, graceful...noble!
She's the first character I've made with Fair Skin Complexion. I'm not sure I'll stick with it, but for a while at least to test other characters as well. Silwana is "fresh out of the box", so she's made with the same textures installed. I still need to have a look at some of the older characters of mine to see what this skin does to them.
The first outfit shots were actually meant to be the "underwear/lingerie part of this upload, but I got caught with some mashup and decided to stay that way...
I like to stick to more natural makeup. Too much is too much, and most of the textures come with some makeup already applied and/or are too dark around the eyes, or produce a neckseam.
The male ones... gods I've tested so many. Either they were too shiny, looked too old, had dark shadows around the eyes as well, or they were too shiny. And since I edited my body files to match my current face textures I have to stick with the ones I use anyway. The only thing that I dislike about them are the beard stubbles here and there. I mean okay, they're not that obvious, but in MY imagination elven races should not grow beards in ANY way
It's so damn hard to find textures that suit your taste perfectly, unless you can make your own imho.
I agree it's damn hard to find something that fits your own liking though. Always something that bugs you it seems...
Although the sceneries and landscapes look wonderful as does the magical effects. I've done a few travel sets with the new combo which I'm going to upload within a week or so. It's going to be interesting to hear what people think...but yes, I normally go with a good-looking skintexture above all.
And you know I'm honest. ^_^ So if it doesn't have nice colors and all that stuff...
These are wonderful pictures... she is really an elven warrior... strong, elegant, beautiful and proud
Since I use Mod Organizer I have several Skin Texture profiles, so I use Fair Skin for my female elven, SG for my young orc and human females and valkyre for my older and more experienced women... so I don't stick with only one tex
The same I do with my male tex... I have SkySight Skin for the younger... Veteran for the older and Fine Skin for the elven males...
I'm really happy that you could persuade me to try it... it makes my gaming and character creation experience so much easier
Also I would like to apologize, that I didn't comment on your other sets, min vän... I have so many pm's to reply since I uploaded my last set, that I startet to despair.. when looking in my notification tool and see all the uploads... I'll try to comment them all... but every day I'm playing with the thought to delete them all and start new... I know I would never do that
Don't despair...not on my account at least! I know all to well how it is when you want to be more supportive and up-to-date with both comments and endorsements, but as you say, that's really the start of a downfall sucking both the fun and joy out of this whole place. I've been there and tried that, and I can't say I recommend feeling guilty for it. So please, take all the time you want, especially with me since I'm still so very far behind. I believe I still have sets you've uploaded that I haven't mentioned at all. All things in time, deal?
I actually do the same as you - I use different textures for different characters or profiles (bless MO). The thing is though, I got very much captivated by SG and SRG so I've been using these two for the main bulk of my characters. Then I switched from Vividian ENB to Rudy ENB just recently...and the skintones don't work at all in my favor. Maybe it's something that just needs to grow on me, but it made me start trying a few other skin textures and Fair Skin worked really well for this elven lady. I still have to test a few other characters to see what will happen though, but I assure you - I have at least 7-8 different skins installed...
Very good to see you around, my lady, and thank you kindly!
