Though I've always re-textured them for more of a silver chainmail and black leather kind of look, it just seems to fit better withe the studded bracers/gauntlets. However, looking at these "teasing" screenshots I must say you've really worked wonders on the red hue - not too light but not blotchy and dark, truly perfection.
but there are some work to do m8 ^^
