O.o modwise or originally? (I never completed the storyline. ) I've been playing Skyrim since the end of June and had sooo much stuff to do and to mod and to mess with that I haven't made it far yet. But I don't care since it's still fun to play the game for whatever purpose and doing a quest here or there from time to time. ^.^

Both I think To be honest, I completed Skyrim only like 2 times... I always get carried away by the exploration and side quests and HOARDING USELESS STUFF When SSE comes out tomorrow I plan to stick to the main questline as long as possible!

I hope it creates its own folder in steam, running alongside the usual skyrim that way.
I still need more information about WHAT really changes, if SKSE will still work, FNIS all that stuff... Which mods do, which don't... meh! I wasthinking about throwing Enderal at the SE for once. Because just for a bit of texture and lighting changes I don't really need a new version, I already got everythingthe way I like it.
Well I'll keep my eyes open on what people say.

It's already available to pre-load on Steam for people who have Skyrim and all DLCs. The Special Edition version is a big thing though, I highly recommend watching this video:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXOjkr4ewcA

It's not about the retextures and lighting, it's mainly about the new 64-bit engine! Infinite modding possibilities and highly improved stability! No more crashing!

I hardly crash. :O But mhm... could be worth a try if I don't have to give up on my mods. My list is long. o.o"

There are mods already on the Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/?
But mods that require script extenders like SKSE won't work for certain, because SKSE will have to be updated first.

I think most modders will prefer the 64 bit version though, so you'll have to migrate anyway
      That's just my opinion though

Yeah I had a look at the video, though, I still wonder if old mods still work flawlessly.
(Given that SKSE will be updated, off course. :p)

I mean - I'd have no problem to get rid of my weather mod, it looks just fine in the original SE version, I don't use lighting mods, so no problem here either, and I could live without my grass and flora mods - if they would conflict, or get new ones.

I'd keep my texture replacers, though. Like brown mountains, probably the water mod if the water hasn't improved a lot, and lightning / rainbow stuff.

And then what about FNIS and all that stuff?

If I could use all my stuff sooner or later I'd definitly migrate, for the 64bit engine alone. But if I can't have my mods... no way.

Interesting... So even Vaermina can be used for "combat" stuff. Great shot!

      Thank you!!
To be honest, when I started with ENBs 2 years ago, I only used Vaermina for like 2 months. Played through the whole game with it It's great for combat and cinematics!
