Always a joy reading your comments and looking at the gif's you've spent so much time finding! Thanks again!
If you feel you don't have the time to reply to every comment you receive, or if you feel obligated to always write something on other peoples uploads, it's going to burn you out and exhaust you in the end. I tried to keep this up at my starting appearance here at Nexus, and at some point giving comments turned into "a must", almost like a curse. That's no good!
So never feel obligated about this, it's only screenshots from a game, and life is outside our windows. If we caught too caught up in this hobby, we all are going to become what I already am - lonely, reserved people with little experiences of real life that's always around us. You're also still so young - yet wise - so don't get trapped in fantasy worlds only, but never let them go either. Our imagination is our greatest feature after all...
Be safe, my dear, and take care of yourself! Superfun seeing you work together with Lucy too! I call the two of you the sunshines of Nexus...
Thank you for the visit here, much appreciated!
I'm very happy you like my version of Oghren! He's indeed a great guy - funny yes, but also with a lot of bad luck in his life which I can relate too. I'm not a drinker like him though...
Better buy the whole Honningbrew Meadery to keep this guy content!
You captured all his dwarven signs but you made him strong and grumbling friendly
Your pictures show him in his native surrounding ... very well done
It was a great set, I still think so even after this long time, and he's one of my best celebrity remakes together with my Morrigan, Aveline and Merrill...
However, your version puts this rather sad situation right in that your character actually looks perfect for your description of the original.
A really super regeneration old mate!
Oghren is pretty much a caricature with his obnoxious behaviour and his rather funny appearance. He's a good guy though who just looked to deep in the bottle to find the answers of his sorrow and bad luck. I really did like making the characters from Dragon Age, and Baldur's Gate too which is an even older RPG, but lately there hasn't been much Saturday Night Celebrities-action.
Thank you for the kind words about my work with him, he's one of the best I've done for this event...
You did a fantastic job bringing Oghren over from DA:O Seems everyone is doing SNC now. Fantastic addition to MM and SW. Looking forward to the next character you bring over to Skyrim.
Though with the impending release of Skyrim Remastered soon It is going to be a bit harder since the core game is about to change and 80% of the mods will not work tell they are brought over to the new creation kit.
Saturday Night Celebrities was indeed busy at this time, but nowadays it's more or less hidden in shadows. I do a set occasionally, but that's pretty much it. I miss my "partner" Tanja in pulling this one together, but she's barely at Nexus anymore which is why I started up my new event with the themes. That said, my work with Oghren here is probably the one I'm most satisfied with along with my Morrigan, Aveline and Merrill...
I feel I've made him more handsome than he's supposed to be, but that's perhaps a part of the fun too, right? Making your very own versions of popular characters...
I'm also not as brave as you to try on real life people - at least not yet - so a reference shot is much needed when making video game characters, because otherwise people will have no clue about how they're looking in their original state...
I will try some day, just not yet. I still have too many video game characters in mind! Also glad we could keep you occupied, if you're already at it!
It's been wonderful to see your creations so far and I do agree - it's very addictive!
