I was begotten without love,
I was born as a servant,
And my home was
The valley of destitution
Our Lady was Greed
Loyalty I swore her
But our valley was just visited by
Death
She said:
I'll never give anything ago
I want more!
Taking is more blessed than Giving
I want more!
Death answered:
You have three
Grains of seed in your hand,
Just give me one
And I'll spare you
and your servants
Lady Greed was furios:
I'll never
give anything ago
Never!
And she was hiding her hand
under the hem of her dress
Death raised his hand,
Black mist was rising
And everybody was released
From his hardship
Lady Greed fleed from the valley,
But I died there,
I am still searching for
the reason.
If she would have give him
just one seed,
I would still be breathing
and would multiply her wealth
hour by hour
But
Taking is more blessed than Giving!
