In Windhelm we found help. The Dark Elves helped us to get a carriage to Whiterun while the Argonians prepared the docks for a new Imperial ship to arrive. General Philida will be marching to Riften without me. When we arrived at Whiterun, the scout said:"Legate, I´ll take a carriage to Solitide, if you don´t mind. Maybe Tullius needs me somewhere else." I agreed. I wanted to go to the City of Whiterun to meet my old friend and swordbrother, Hadvar. But before I went through the gate, a courier stopped me. He said: "Legate Kamaroth? I´ve got a letter for you... And... Hadvar... Doesn´t that guy have a familyname? It´s from General Tullius. Seems to be important. Well that´s all for now, I must leave..."
I decided to wait reading until I met Hadvar. He was at the market just in front of the bannered mere. "Hadvar!!", I shouted. "Peter? Ha! You live!! I heard you were dead! I´m so happy to see you alive!", he answered. "I´ve got orders from Tullius. They´re for both of us. I guess we´ll work together again.", I told him. "Haha! We´ll fight side by sight again, my friend and brother!", he said. I read the orders loudly, so he could hear them. General Tullius letter said:
"Peter and Hadvar,
The tragedy near Windhelm has put you two together now. You both will stay in Whiterun and an army should arrive soon. You two will lead it while the defence of Whiterun. Our scouts have reported huge Thalmor movements towards Whiterun. They come from Eastmarch. This time Whiterun will get losses, but I count on you! You will defend Whiterun and it´s citizens!
Don´t worry about the citizens of Riverwood. The Thalmor won´t be hitting the village and a letter of Hjornskar, a Stormcloak Field Commander, tells us, that he and his troops are protecting Riverwood. I´m glad to see, that the Stormcloaks don´t hate us too much to help us fighting those Thalmor! But I guess after this war there won´t be any more Stormcloaks. Without the Thalmor, we can finally allow worshipping Talos again.
Back to the topic: The army will arrive soon. Be ready!"
