Following Ulfric into his private quarters, Stephanie loosely held the hilt of her sword just in case the meeting was a trap. She watched carefully as Ulfric sat down again. 

"Okay you have my attention, now why are you here." Ulfric spoke.

Stephanie said nothing. Instead, She reached into her bag and presented Yarl Bulgruuf's axe to Ulfric.

Ulfric's response was more polite than Stephanie anticipated, "I see...You can return Balgruuf's axe tomorrow. You can stay at the Windpeak Inn for tonight. I'll let my guards know so they wont give you any trouble."

Stephanie thanked Ulfric and left the palace. She had a long journey back to Whiterun, but right now she needed some hot food, strong ale, and some rest.
